The story is marked complete as the author passed away at the end of 2023. She was in the middle of the 4th book at the time of her passing.

This series claims 3 books. with 50 chapters each. The 3rd book ends with Maddy being held captive and no rescue in sight. WHERE IS THE REST OF THE STORY? And if there is another book for the series, then why don’t they say so? I would appreciate an answer please! (For the record, I would have given 5 stars if I wasn’t left hanging. I always get all the books in a series before starting the first one!)
