She got out of the car and hugged Jacob, who looked like a stone. “Jacob, This can’t be happening,” she said crying. He was not responding. Standing like a sculpture.

Ellis got out of the car and went ahead towards the woods where Gena’s body was lying. Her mother was crying, while her father was trying to calm her down.

I fought until my last strength but he was much stronger, he killed her and ran away,” he said in a whisper-like voice.

“I failed her,” he said while looking at the wall.

“Oh thank God you are fine Jacob,” said Ruby.

“Jacob!” screamed Regina who had just arrived.

Rejection, pain, anger, sadness, broken she was unable to describe which emotion she had at that time. She knew if her mate would be from this pack he would reject her for sure, but Tyler he would be her mate? She felt not only Rejected but also humiliated.

She was slowly walking to her home when she spotted Salvia and Julia outside.

“What are they doing here?” she thought. She hides beside the nearby tree.

She walked exhausted towards the house. After 16 minutes she reaches home. She packed her important things and looked around her home for the last time. She wrote a letter tearfully.

Dear Mom and Dad,

I am leaving Riverstone forever. I don’t want to put your lives in danger. Please don’t try to find me, you would be unable to find me as I have made my arrangements. Thanks for taking me in. I love you both and my little demon Collin. I will miss you.

She left the house. She was walking in the forest for hours, how many hours? She was unable to know but now she was on the end of territory. Patrolling wolves were already there. She had masked her scent already. She hid behind the tree while they were not looking and very slowly and secretly she had crossed the territory.

Now for the first time in her life, she was out of territory. She knew she was in grave danger, but she put her family’s safety first. Her heart was beating too fast. She had to cross that woods. She decided to turn right because she saw there was no wolf around and now she was not afraid of being seen. She turned into her wolf. Lilly was running as fast as she could until they saw the forest was gone and they were almost in the city. She shifted back and wore her clothes again.

“Whoa Lilly, you had never run like that before,” she said.

“Even that could not cheer me up,” said Lilly sadly.

It was already morning.

“By now Mom and dad must have read that letter,” she said sadly.

“Yeah and I have blocked their mind-links,” said Lilly.

“I watched on the Tv and Jacob told me about local transport, we can find a train station to leave the town,” she said smiling.

After 30 minutes of walking, she finally spotted the train station. She buys a ticket and gets inside the train for her very unknown destination which would change her life once and for forever.
