She had been crying for hours, and no one had visited her since last morning. This punishment was to starve her for days.

“I will never leave you, I will never spare you for what you have done to my child,” she said angrily and kicked the door and fell crying again.

After a while, the door opened and a masked man came in. He looked around and smirked.

“Well, Well the bitch has given birth to a bastard,” he said. She looked up and anger rushed into her blood.

“Where is the bastard baby of yours?” he asked while grabbing her from the collar. She spits on his face.

“You bitch,” he screamed and slapped her.

“Julia must have taken it,” he said with anger and dialed Julia’s number, he put it on a loudspeaker.

“Hello,” she said from the other side.

“The baby is missing,” he said.

“Did the bitch give birth to the bastard?” she said from the other side.

“Yeah but the baby is missing,” he said, tense.

“Relax, one of the servants must have gotten rid of the baby as I asked her,” she said relaxed.

Althea felt her blood boiling, she never had felt this much anger before, and her purple eyes started glowing like they never did before, She got up and punched the masked man in his face. She was fighting him, he had no match for her as she was stronger. He fell to the ground and she kicked him on his stomach.

She bends down over him and whispers in a sinister voice.

“I will not see your face today,” she took a deep breath taking his scent.

“I will find you one day, and you will regret your existence, and as for that bitch tell her from me, one day I will rip her head apart, tell her there is the biggest enemy who will send her to hell,” she said while grabbing his hair and shifting into her wolf.

She climbed up in the whole made-up on the roof and went out of that dungeon-like room. The door opened with a thud and four guards walked in.

“Get that bitch she is escaping,” he said while putting his hand over his stomach.

The men ran outside in a rush.

She jumped from the roof; it was some abundant building, where they were keeping her. She was running as fast as she could. She could not decide if it was anger, love for her child, or betrayal from her mate that was keeping her alive, other than that, nothing left for her to be alive.

“Whoooo” she heard a wolf howl behind her, she looked behind four wolves chasing her.

She was running as fast as she could. The four wolves were so desperate to get her. There were woods ahead and she entered the woods. This was a dead end.

“We have to fight Althea,” said Lilly. She turned; the wolves were running towards her. They centered her. She growled and started fighting. Despite being strong, she was outnumbered. They cornered her. A wolf walked ahead and was about to bite her neck when another huge wolf jumped upon it.

Althea looked up with wide opened eyes. It was a huge wolf and more importantly, it was her very own kind.

She rubbed her eyes and looked again. It was indeed Canis lupus.

The wolf was strong; he was fighting all four wolves alone until he killed them all. He turned towards her. She shifted in her human and fell to the ground exhausted.

She opened her eyes; the room was dark. She was feeling weaker. She tried to get up when she heard a soft voice.

“Please lay down, you are safe here” she looks up in horror.

“Relax, no one gonna hurt you here queen,” said a deep manly voice.

She got up and sat while looking around. “Who are you and why are you calling me queen?” she asked, afraid.

“Relax, I will explain everything to you, everything, but you have to be calm,” said the woman.

“No one’s gonna hurt you,” said a man, who had dark brown hair and purple eyes.

“Why do you guys have eyes like me, who are you guys?” She was feeling confident now.

“You are in the Canis Lupus clan,” said the woman.

“I am Connor, I saved you from those rogues,” said the man who had dark brown hair.

“Canis Lupus clan? But I have read about it, it has been extinct” she said shocked.

“No silly girl, if it has been extinct from where you thought you came from,” said a girl who was tall and red-haired.

“Evelyn, how many times have I told you to talk respectfully with Alphas,” said the woman.

“But mum” Evelyn was about to say something, but the woman had abrupt.

“He died. Centuries had passed and we became extinct from the outer world, people started thinking we no longer exist. Our wolves started finding their mates inside the kingdom. So no Canis lupus went out of the kingdom, until one day when one wolf who left mate less in the pack and after that many wolves were unable to find their mates inside the kingdom, we understood it is the signal from the moon goddess that we have to go in the outside world because our mates are out there,” he took a deep breath.

“Our Alpha and Luna, Altus and Diana were worried about the pack, so they allowed Canis lupus to go outside and find their mates, but then the bad era started someone was haunting and killing Canis Lupus, fearing, they again banned the wolves from going outside. We still do not know why they were haunting us. However, this was not the only reason for Luna to get upset, the kingdom needed the heir and Luna was unsuccessful in conceiving. “How come, I have been left in the woods?” she asked, clenching her teeth.

“When you were born, our kingdom was attacked by rogues” they killed Alpha and Luna and took you away with them,” said Elaina sadly.

“But why?” she asked, shocked. She got out of bed. There were huge portraits in the room. She walked ahead towards the portrait where a woman who had dark black hair and purple eyes was standing with a man who had blond hair and the same purple eyes.

“They were my parents?” she asked.

“Yeah they were, since their deaths the pack has been run by me,” said Connor.

“Now you are back and we can have our Alpha,” said Evelyn.

“Why me?” she asked angrily.

“Because you are destined to be the Alpha, you are our hope Althea,” said a man who had just entered the room.

“Vincent!” said Marry. He walked towards Marry and kissed her over the forehead indicating that they were mates.

“Where have you been when they took you from here?” asked Evelyn.

She looked at them with a poker face and walked towards the window.

“I have been abused and treated as a Rogue in River-stone pack,” she said sadly.

“What? That’s a moon goddess’ pack” said Conner.

“They are direct descendants,” she said while taking a deep breath.

Evelyn took a deep breath and walked towards her and put her hand over her shoulder. She was feeling so sad for her.

Her purple eyes filled with tears.

She tells them everything she has gone through.

She was staring at the trainers of the pack. The memories and her injuries were as fresh as the time when she lost her child.

“Yeah today’s meeting was rock, I think it’s time to go to the outside world,” said Evelyn.

“Is it safe to send our children to werewolf schools?” asked Mary, worried.

“Marry, I know you are worried about your children, but they are not only your children but my cousins too, you are like my mum, trust me everything will be alright,” she said. “They are safe now they can protect themselves. We have one of the best warriors,” said Althea.

A young girl who had dark straight hair looked up at the window and smiled at Althea, she had blue eyes.

Two blue eyes came inside her mind, two blue eyes that resembled a lot with someone she thought would be the last person she wanted to remember on earth. A spark lighted up inside her mind.

“I have an interesting case,” she said in a deep voice.

“The upcoming Luna of North-pole pack,” she said, smiling.

“North pole pack, your previous home?” Evelyn asked.

“It was good to see my old friends again, they all are fine, but it’s such a pity I can’t meet them at the meeting,” she said sadly.

“He is the upcoming Alpha of the North Pole pack, I can’t believe he grew so handsome. I have told Grace that this guy would be a lady killer,” she said smiling.

“They are your friends, why don’t you meet them?” asked Conner. She took a deep breath.

“Someday” she whispered.
