Chapter No 53 Innocent?

I was all alone, crying in the middle of nowhere. I tried hard to connect with my mate, Michael my only hope but he was nowhere to be found. He got me pregnant before this chaos. I got up and decide to investigate the situation own my own but I have to keep good care of me too. I start keeping my eyes on River-stone pack. There was nothing enough I could know. One day I was out to sneak out on River-stone when I saw a pair of wolves, the female wolf seemed so much upset.

They were white wolf. Her mate was trying to mollify her. I felt my heart aching. I was lost into memories when I felt unfamiliar scent. The rogue wolves and he was about to injure a baby in basket and the other one was standing next to him. I howl a loud in order to alert the pair. I turned in to my wolf and the second rogue had start chasing me in order to kill me. I was heavily pregnant, all I wanted was to protect my baby but also that baby girl. I run as fast as I could I entered the deep forest and hide in the bushes. I have lost him.

Just then I felt sharp pain. I was in labor pain. It was extremely sharp pain. I did not turned into my human. I looked up. It was already dark and the full moon appeared in the sky. A tear fell from my eye.

“Mom goddess, help me with my difficult time,” I said.

It was extreme pain that I was gone collapsed. Everything turned dark and after that I have not remember anything.

When I woke up it was already early morning. It was cold. I opened my eyes. I felt something warm and soft near my breast. I was in my human now. It was my baby. I held him in my arms. I took my son in cave and put on wood on fire. I was still thinking about the girl whom I left in jungle with rogues, I hope those two white wolf’s have already protect her. I took my son in my arms and hug him softly. I named him John.

“I wanted to attend his ceremony, he might have found his mate and I am missing everything” I said with tears in my eyes.

“Mum, you are ready to go at brother’s birthday party,” he said.

“What?” I asked shocked.

“Mum, look at you,” he said and I walked towards the Clearwater pond.

“What? How did you do it?” I asked shocked.

“Mum, I don’t know, I wanted to tell you but strange woman came into my dreams few days ago and she said I am different and next morning strange things start happening to me, I could reshape things as if I am creating hallucination,” he said.

I walked towards him and touch his face afraid.

“My son, you, you are gifted,” I said shocked.

“What?” he asked me confused,

“Yeah, you are gifted my son, few of our generations are gifted and you are one of them, it happened because we are descendant of moon goddess,” I explained.

“Mum, I don’t know all this but all I know is I can’t see you sad, so tonight I am your fairy god mother and you are my Cinderella,” he said smile and whooshing his invisible wand in his hand.

I chuckled and kiss his forehead.

“My boy, I will be back soon, be save here,” I said and turned towards the Jungle.

That’s when I saw my son for the first time in a while. My eyes were filled with tears, My son, he so grown up without me and his father by his side. He stared at someone and I followed his gaze, it was blond girl who had purple eyes, I had strange feeling that I have seen that girl somewhere and then I looked at the woman standing next to her, It was the woman whom I saw the day my son was born and I alert the pair to save the girl. I realized that it was same girl.

I looked back at my son, he had strange expressions, while he was looking at the girl. After that I have seen him leaving, I followed him. I had a strange feeling. He was on phone. He looked so much tensed. I walked closer and hide behind the nearby tree, It was so quiet out there I could easily hear what the other person on the phone is talking.

“Listen upcoming Alpha, whoever is your mate, we already know, if you dare to claim her we will shoot her with wolf’s bane,” said the person on the other side of phone. My son looked furious. He hung up the phone.

“I won’t let anything happened to you Althea,” he muttered and left. He had not turned 18 yet there was still 1 minute left, but he already knew who would be his mate, he was so assure which mean he already know that girl.

I followed him again in the crowd. I need to know this girl Althea, she was in danger. I looked at the crowd, it was already 12 O’clock. Whoever is his mate would be alert by know. I looked at the direction where my son was looking. It was that blond girl.

I was surprised. I saved my son’s mate long time ago, moon goddess has her strange plans. But after that I felt the girl was tensed as if she heard something very bad, and then my son went on the stage.

They have changed rules by their own, we do not allow rogue because of our ancestor’s incident but we do not kill them.

This all was unbearable for me; John has mastered his illusion skills. I daily practice my mind link ability to reach anyone from the pack. My son was married to someone who is not his mate, this was not good, a sign of huge apocalypse in werewolf world. I was unreachable to anyone, until one day after many years, I was able to contact a boy, my own blood Caleb, son of my nephew.

Hazel was jaw-dropped looking at the woman in front of her. “Holy crap” said Caleb while holding up his wound, he collapses.

“Take the boy near the fire,” said the woman.

A tall man came ahead, he had hazel eyes and brown hair. He looked at Hazel with interest.

The woman walked towards Hazel and stopped by her.

“Perfect image of me as if I am looking into a mirror,” said the woman.

“How can it be? You look exactly alike to me,” said Hazel.

“You are my granddaughter,” said the woman smiling. Hazel was jaw dropped again.

“Where is my brother,” said Willow, crashing into the cave.

“Relax dear, he is here” said the woman calmly.

“I have to heal him, he mind-linked me to come here” said Willow impatiently.

“He is near the fire inside,” said the woman.

Willow ran inside the cave followed by Justin.

“What really is happening?” asked Hazel, irritated.

“You need to calm down Hazel, I will tell you everything, I am waiting for your mother, she will be here by anytime” said the woman by looking at the cave.

“Hold on, is it possible to gain immortality?” she asked.

“This is a huge mess, we have to find this out,” said Aria.

“All of Floroscura packs are required in the pack house, River-stone has declared war against us,” it was Connor, he mind-link all the pack members.

“Alpha, now what?” asked Aria worried. Justin came out worried.

“Alpha, we need to be at the pack house,” said Justin. Althea looks a bit worried.

“He is your mate,” said Jacob while putting his hand on her shoulder.

“Your parents must be proud of you Althea,” said Tiana.

“My parents do not recognize me now,” said Althea sadly.

“They will,” when we figure this situation out, do you remember even if I can’t recognize you, if this was not for my mate I would have not come back,” said Jacob.

Althea nods.

“Let’s go,” said Althea,

“We are coming,” said John.

“But….” Althea tried to say something.

“This is my brother, and we are family too. There is no way, we are staying back,” said John.
