Chapter No 8 Sympathy

She opened the door and turned on the lights. Althea was shaken. Gena helped her to the couch.

“Feeling okay?” She asked.

She bobs her head.

“Let me make you some coffee, you will feel better,” she said and left. Althea took a deep breath.

Tyler’s words were still inside her ears, “She is that desperate that she was ready to bang with rogues?” His angry tone was still in her ears.

She was gazing at her phone like she had held someone else’s phone. She checked her instant and she was tagged in some school news, it was a video, she played it and the horror was in front of her.

“Oh no this can’t be,” she said dismayed.

It was her and Tyler’s video where he pulled her inside the changing room. The video had given the wrong indications. He pulled her in and she came out after 20 minutes.

“Where are you going Tyler?” He asked him angrily.

“Mind it Tyler, it’s Althea you are talking about and you know how important she is to me,” he said with a dangerous tone, he did not like Tyler’s choice of words.

“First, I want you to take a deep breath and, second you have to come with me, now we will figure it out,” Jacob said, and he got inside Tyler’s car.

“Jerk,” Tyler rolled his eyes and muttered. He got into the car.

“Where are we exactly going?” Tyler asked.

“My girlfriend’s apartment,” Jacob said shortly. Tyler was about to say something when Jacob raised his hand.

“I can hack it,” he said, smiling.

“You what?” Said Gena.

“Okay bro, you grab Instagram, I will hack Facebook, and for WhatsApp, we will catch the culprit,” he said, they turned on the laptops and smartphones. After ten minutes they had done the hacking.

“Done,” Said Tyler.

“I have done too,” said Jacob.

“Well, I have tracked down the culprit,” said Gena.

“Not bad, now what I was talking about,” said Jacob.

“Who is it?” Asked Tyler angrily.

“It’s Emma,” she said with a stone expression.

He left the apartment in a rush.

“Hey Althea, The video is deleted” Jacob cried out aloud. She did not respond. Jacob sighed at Gena.

“Give her time she is disturbed” he took a deep breath.

He got inside his car after leaving the building. He pulls out the cigarette and lights it up. He inhaled a deep smoke and later he exhaled it with a sigh on the front mirror. Which was showing the reflection of the building in the same window where Gena lives. Her voice was echoing in his head.

“Tyler he always has treated me trash” Her sobs were all he could hear. He started the car and put it on the highway; he was driving so fast. Her voice was calling his name.

“I went to check up on Emma and it seems like she was nowhere to be found, I asked the wolves who were on patrol, if she was seen leaving. But they said they did not see her” he said while crossing his arms around his chest. She was staring at the ground.

It was an awkward silence.

“Everyone in the school thinks, I, I, I, You, and I did…” she was turning red and hesitant to say. He smirked. He walked ahead a bit removing the distance between them, she walked backward a bit

“We did what?” He said in a deep voice. He was smirking. He was coming too much closer; she felt her heart racing “Hmmm? We did what” he said in a very deep voice, and her heart was pounding against the chest.

She puts her hand over his chest to stop him from coming closer. He was wearing a black T-shirt, jeans and a jacket over it. She could feel his body heat when she touched his chest, for the first time she was feeling his strong chest.

“Tyler please don’t make a move, if anyone sees us like this, it will create a scene, you can be with any girl in the pack, but not me, because you are a prince and I am a rogue,” she said without looking at him. She turned and left. He was staring at her back.

He punched hard on the wall, “Why? Why? I feel attraction towards her, she is right she is just a rogue, she has been an outcast why I am drawn to an outcast? Why? Only if Axel was here to contact me I will be able to ask him, if he feels the same. I am trying hard to resist these abnormal feelings why? Why? I am doing this?” he thought angrily.

Her heartbeat was still fast.

“Someone is feeling high,” said Lilly.

“It’s not like that Lilly,” she said angrily.

“I can’t fall for an angry arrogant prince, who gives everyone a fuck,” Althea was too much angry. She left for her class.

“Next week is his coronation. What do you think? Who is his mate ?” asked Lilly.

“Yeah I can throw a dollar it must be the bitch Julia they are made to be together jerk vs. jerk,” she said angrily. Lilly chuckled.

Jacob did not come to school today. He was on a camping trip with Gena. She was reading a book when her phone rang.

She picked it up “Hy Jacob how is it going?” she asked happily.

“It’s fine, I am screwed,” he said angrily.

“What happened?” she asked worriedly.

“Mr. Lawrence had given me a paper parchment of wolf training and it happens to be in my room, can you grab it for me and give it to Mr Lawrence?” he asked.

“Yeah sure I am going to grab it after school,” she said smiling and hung up the phone.

She went to the pack house. Luna was standing outside of the house.

“Hey, you are Ruby’s daughter?” she asked, smiling. She nodded.

“Long time no see you have grown beautiful,” she said while softly hugging her.

“Your brother Collin is here playing with Viviana,” she said pointing at the window that must be Viviana’s room’s window.

“Thank you, Luna, my pleasure to meet you. I am here to take something from Jacob’s room, he wanted to give a piece of paper to a teacher” she said, bowing to her. Luna was a short-height, black-haired woman, she had small narrowed eyes. Her daughter Viviana was the exact image of her. She had dark brown eyes. She wondered where Tyler got those glittering blue eyes because none of his parents had eyes like those.

“Honey, no need to bow, sometimes we should put aside royalties,” she said smiling and she went inside the home.

“Jacob’s room, Jacob’s room why this house has to be this much big,” she was annoyed. She walked up the stairs and went left. There were two doors, both were so familiar.

“Which one was his?” she thought and went inside the right door. She felt a strange familiarity in the room, she had been in Jacob’s room before, but it was nothing like that.

This room was all messy and most precisely it had the same scent, the scent she was afraid of, now she remembered where she was. It was Tyler’s room. She gasped.

“Why do I always end up here?” she said, annoyed. She turned to leave but much to her horror the door was closed.

“Why on the planet he has put the lock on?” she thought annoyed.

“I am trapped, he will be here at any moment. I am trapped, I am trapped, I am trapped,” she thought panicked. Just then the door clicked, and she gulped.
