An Unwanted Matchmaking
“Ivy, is it full moon yet?”
The beautiful woman with curly brown hair seemed to be pacing around the room, she looked very worried. Ivy, the servant who was in charge of taking care of everything for her, also panicked.

Haven’t we dreamed that one day you and I would be king and queen in our pack? So I ask you to be patient, just think of my marriage to Caitlin as a stepping stone to our beautiful final destination. Also, you are just the step daughter of the Dawn family. You don’t have any power in this pack.”
Caitlin’s b*dy trembled, tears dripping down her cheeks. She was not dreaming, right? How could two people she loved so much, two people she trusted so much be able to betray her in this way? Even Caitlin didn’t expect this to happen at all.
“Will you promise me that? You’ll never leave me, right?” Blaze asked as if to convince herself.
Erland immediately nodded, he hugged and even k*ssed Blaze very hotly. After that, he let go of the warm hug.
“I promise you, Blaze. By the gods, and by anything in this world, I will never leave you for Caitlin. You know that I love you very much, so how could I be shaken by that? Everything I will do, is only for our ultimate goal. We need huge sacrifices for that, right? Remember, there is no happiness without sacrifice.”
Blaze nodded his head perfectly, and Erland wiped Blaze’s tears with his big thumb.
“Now, you go home. Go back to your pack, don’t let anyone know about our relationship and about you secretly coming here, especially Caitlin. You know Caitlin will be here soon, don’t let her know where you are, Blaze.”
“Okay, I’ll go right away. I hope you will never be happy with your marriage, can I pray that badly to you?”
Erland smiled then he gently pinched Blaze’s chubby cheeks. “This is the first time I feel happy because of the bad prayers for me, I am sure that my marriage to Caitlin will never be happy. You know, she’s a very old-fashioned woman, a boring woman who can never be cute. She can’t tease me and she always act like a statue, so don’t worry, how could I be interested in a boring woman like that?”
Both of them immediately burst out laughing, of course in contrast to Caitlin. Instead of laughing, Caitlin found out even more how bad she was in Erland’s eyes. The man she had always loved so much.
“So, am I that bad in Erland’s eyes?”
Caitlin’s hands were tightly clenched into fists, her heart felt broken by all the affairs that hurt her. Caitlin would never forgive the betrayal that Erland and Blaze had done to her.
“It turns out that what Ivy said was true, no parent would put their children in trouble. Now I regret that I went against my parents. It turns out my choice was the wrong one.”
After saying that, Caitlin glanced back at Erland and Blaze who were still together, she had to leave quickly before Blaze left. So that Blaze and Erland wouldn’t know that she was already here. Caitlin immediately left and returned to her pack. She curled up in the room and covered her entire b*dy which felt so weak. That night, Caitlin continued to cry, she didn’t even know how long her tears would last.
