Cecilia pov's

I was on my way to the business meeting which I would be attending with my boss as he instructed. I had received so ma calls from Betty but I didn't pick any because I can't have an argument with her here. I know how mad she gets when she’ home before me, so I decided to switch of my phone.

I finally arrived at the restaurant I made reservations for the meeting. I got there to meet him waiting for me at the restaurant door with anger on his face.

I walk to the restaurant, opened the door and stepped in without sparing him a glance and am sure that made him really furious. I waited for a few seconds he wasn't coming , so I stepped out and dragged him into the restaurant.

He glared at me and looked at his hands which I touched to pull him in. I didn't know where I got the courage to do such but all I know is that I really need to get home on time.

Don't ever touch me he said with a angry tone which made me gulped and u bowed my head, letting him take the lead while I trailed behind him. What was I even thinking touching him, “I should be grateful he didn't take of my head” I cuationed myself smiling at my thought.

“Good evening Mr Lorenzo” I greeted our client before having my seat beside my boss. “Wow, who is this pretty lady with you Mr Jago?” He asked, taking my hand and planted a light kiss on my palm which made me blush. Oh my, his such a swe fellow, I thought . Bringing out my little jotter to wrote down every important information I could get.

Mr Lorenzo, can we please start this meeting, my boss said in a hard tone interrupting us. “Alright let's proceed” Mr Loren said and brought out some paperwork from his breifcase while my boss did same to.

The meeting was going well and I was taking notes of every important details they mentioned. But when she felt pressed she excuse herself and allowed the gentleman continue their meeting.

The meeting was going well to Cecil but little did she know that the two men were on each other necks. Lorenzo couldn't take his eyes off Cecilia even for a split seconds and this made Fredrick so angry.

He would glare hard at Lorenzo whenever their eyes locked but Lorenzo would placed a smirk on his face. Lorenzo knows that Mr Fredrick isn't a person who is moved by any beautiful girl that passes bye or throws himself at him. He knows for show that he doesn't fancy woman and can never be.

It's a surprise, when he noticed his contenance changed because of the way he complimented her. He was determined to get the pretty lady no matter what.

“You have a beautiful secretary,” Lorenzo started immediately Cecilia left them and Fredrick just nodded his head before forwarding a piece of paper.

What is her name? He asked and Fredrick got tired of hearing him talk. He got up on his feet and banged the table putting fear in Lorenzo.

On the other hand, Cecilia decided to served them wine since it going to take a while to finalize everything. She collected the tray of wine from the waitress she met and walked to their seat but she didn't look up to see Fredrick standing in fror of her. Fredrick turned around to leave Lorenzo presence when he bumped into Cecilia who was in front of him, causing t red wine to spilled on their body and his suit.

Lorenzo, who had watched everything happened laughed silently to himself as he waited for Fredrick reaction, he knows fully well that Fredrick isn't a man of patient, do definitely he is going to react harshly.

“Are you blind” he yelled which made Cecil busted out in tears. You are so incompetent, just see the way you ruined my texudo and you can't even afford it in or can you he yelled at her face in anger, Making her fidget.

“You are going to clean this mess up” he said and held her hand tightly like she was his prisoner. He turned to Mr Lorenzc and asked him to leave that the meeting is cancelled.

He watched Lorenzo grunted before leaving but not without staring at Cecilia who wasn't even paying attention to him. She began to pack the piece of glass on the floor into the tray, she made sure to be careful but unfortunately she cut herself. Fredrick pretended not have seen it, because in his eyes all she wanted was pity and he wasn't going to give her any of that. She picked up all the glass, clean the wine that spill before going to watch her hands, it wasn't easy for her doing all this because she wore heels and she never knew her day was going to end up like this.

She accepted she made a mistake but punishing her and behaving like he has no human feeling was wicked of him.

“Am done sir” she said sounding bold, she had promised herself that she wouldn't let him see her weak side. She is going to a t tough and strong no matter what he throws at her.

He raised his head finally from his laptop and stare at the place, he thought she was going to find it difficult doing them because of her heels but he was surprised to see everything clean.

He saw her finger wrapped with a piece of cloth and it became clear to him that she actually cut herself, he stare at her b she didn't fidget instead she was eager for his next instructions.

He felt stupid to have thought she was looking for his mercies when she wasn't.

You can go home now, he said and immediately she walked out of his presence and went to the road hoping she would g a cab. But she knew it was going to be difficult getting any by this time of the night.

She stared to walk back home as the cool breeze blew her hair round the place.

She thought of everything that happened today and sighed heavily, he is a beast she said, when she heard a car stop beside her and when she looked clearly it was her boss.

“Get in” he said and she quickly did without a second thought, it better to have a ride home then walked on the street sh told herself giving him direction of where he would stop her.
