Chapter 39 

A few days after leaving the hospital, Annabelle was sent to the hospital again. 

When Lucas received the news and rushed over, he saw Nathan and Ashley guarding outside the ward. 

“Anna!” When Nathan saw Lucas, he subconsciously stood up, looking nervous and worried.

Annabelle felt that this matter could not be decided. However, he did not hide anything from Lucas and told him what Madeline had said to her. 

“She said that I’m not their child and that I’m just a substitute for Ashley. She was good to me in the past not because of me, but because she took me for Ashley!”
