Chapter 47 

Annabelle looked at the unfamiliar number on her phone. She first thought carefully and confirmed that she did not have any impression of it. Then, she picked up the call while feeling puzzled. 

The call was from Elizabeth. Annabelle immediately recognized the voice. However, Annabelle was still very surprised that she would 

call her. 

Of course, Annabelle still wanted to do her best to be on good terms with Elizabeth, Lucas’s only sister, although the two of them did not quite hit it off well. Elizabeth looked at Yolanda’s morose face and held back her laughter until her stomach hurt. She could not stand this person. It was fine if a girl gathered in front of a group of boys every day and coaxed them until they were head–over–heels. After all, they were willing parties. But why did she come to her to make her presence known? 

Elizabeth recalled that when she was young, Yolanda fought with her for favor in front of Noah. Fortunately, although Noah was not good at judging people, he drew a clear line. He did not teach her a lesson just because of this woman’s tricks. The other younger girls were not as lucky as her. For example, Hazel, Howard’s younger sister, had been scolded by Howard countless times because of 

Yolanda!

“Yes, women should take care of their skin starting from the age of 25!” Howard nodded and said seriously, “I’ll bring some for you! too! It’s time for you to use them! Also, does Annabelle… need them?”
