Chapter 51 

Elizabeth couldn’t bear to watch and couldn’t wait for him to get lost. Before Howard left, he even kindly asked her if she wanted to send her home. 

“Thank you, but there’s no need. I want to freeload too!” Elizabeth suppressed the urge to roll her eyes and pretended to be calm.

Elizabeth was speechless. She had watched too much television and believed that what a woman has should still be hers to keep after marriage. Now, it seemed that this might not be the best. 

“It’s not like he won’t pay. Anyway, we’re going to have to come up with a proposal. Go back and prepare well!” Annabelle said to Elizabeth. After that, he walked to the kitchen. “Since you’re here, have dinner here before going back! I’ll go see what’s in the fridge!”
