Hazel had come to the party with her brother, Howard. When Yolanda invited Howard to the party, she mentioned Hazel. Hence, Howard brought Hazel along without asking if she wanted to attend the party.
Hazel was in a very bad mood. Like Elizabeth, she did not like Yolanda at all. Ever since she was young, no matter what happened, Howard would always side with Yolanda. When Hazel was a child, she did not know any better and would just cry whenever that happened. Now that she was older, she was no longer foolish. She did not want to have anything to do with Yolanda.
