As I looked at mom talking to Fallon, something clicked in me.

Ben woke up. That means Zeno will wake up soon as well.

Holly shit! I need to get the hell out of here. No way in the hell do I want to face him at the moment. He will probably end up cursing me to the hell and then everyone will get into fighting. I don't think my family will let him go this time if he tried to mess with me.

“Mom.” I called and she turned towards me. “I want to go home and sleep. Do you mind if I leave now? I have seen how its's done and I can come back tomorrow if needs be.”

“Sure. Go ahead. Ryder will take you home.” She replied frowning as I gave her a pleading look. “Thanks mom.” I squealed and was about to go to uncle Ryder but was stopped by Ethan.

"Aren“t you staying for me? You were here for Ben.”

He looked hurt. Please Ethan. Try to understand.

“It's not like that Ethan. I need to get out of here.” I said urgently trying to make him understand. “But why? Just stay for a couple more minutes. Please.”

I opened my mouth to reply to him but was cut off by a very timid voice of Francis.

“She wants to leave before Zeno wakes up.”

I closed my eyes sighing. I just don't have the strength nor the will to face that good for nothing person.

"Oh... well hurry up then.” Ethan said but he looked like he didn't want me to go.

“You know what. I am not going anywhere. Why should I run when I haven't done anything wrong? I will stay here with you. All the best. Fallon loves you. It won't be that painful for you. I promise.” I beamed at Ethan who grinned back at me.

He pulled me into a tight hug.

“Thanks sis.” He mumbled. “To tell the truth, I am a little scared.”

His last words were so quiet that no human could have heard them even after standing right beside us. Ethan has always been the timid one in the twins. Ben had always been the outgoing and more on the brute side but despite being build the same in body and height, Ethan has always been gentle. He is like a big plushy teddy bear.

“You will be great Ethan. I believe in you. Just follow mom's instruction and everything will be fine. Now you are a teddy bear, then you will be a big fluffy wolf.” I teased to lighten his mood.

There were two protests after my little speech. Well I did call those two soft and cuddly.

“Come on Ethan. Let's get started with it so you can be up for dinner.” Mom said softly.

Fallon and Ethan took their position on either side of mom and she started to merge Fallon with Ethan. Within a few minutes, Ethan was on the ground, groaning in pain as he shifted. He also shifted into his wolf form for a brief moment and then passed out, shifting back to his human form. Dad covered him with a blanket which he keeps conjuring from heaven knows where and took Ethan inside. Francis walked where Ethan had stood before as Cedric took Fallon’s place. Thank god mom introduced me to the spirit wolves before getting here in the morning or I don't know what I would have done. Before today, I only knew Xander, Ajax and off course, uncle Ryder but the others were a complete mystery to me. I mean there are so many of them. Hats off to mom for naming them all and actually remembering all their names. I don't think I remember every single one of them. I will with time, I guess.

Cedric didn't look as enthusiastic as Fallon. He was huffing a lot and kept giving Francis a glare here and there. Francis looked to be shaking in his boots. Well he wasn't wearing any boots but still. I think the poor guy had had enough for today. I mean he isn't actually a culprit here.

“Cedric, I don’t want any problems. Let him shift. Do not refuse it and make it more painful for Francis.” Mom said firmly.

I can tell that it was an order by the way Cedric stiffened and nodded glaring at the ground.

Within a few minutes, Cedric vanished into Francis and he shifted without any problem from Cedric. I don't know how she does this ordering everyone thing and they just follow. Maybe I can do that too once I take over.

Francis fell unconscious after shifting for a brief moment and dad carried him inside, wrapped in a blanket.

Mom plopped down on the ground on her knees looking exhausted.

“Are you alright mom?” I asked kneeling in front of her with Uncle Ryder hovering obnoxiously over us.

Now that I think about it, where did Uncle Tyler go? I didn't see him coming back or anywhere. "Just exhausted. This is tiring. I want to sleep.” Mom mumbled as her eyes drooped.

“I will take you home princess.” Uncle Ryder chimed in.

“Thanks Ryder.” Mom mumbled as I helped her on uncle's back. “Please tell your father that I went home Aria or he will worry.”

I nodded. Mom laid down on Uncle's back and he started moving in our house's direction at a slow trot. I should get going as well but we can't leave Ethan here. He will get super mad if we did that. I would too if I were him.

My stomach growled breaking my thought process. Now that I think about it, I haven't eaten anything since yesterday's early dinner we had back at home. I need food.
