Fajr stopped herself from reaching the door knob. She looked over her shoulder and remembered the hourglass sitting on the kitchen table. For the past few weeks, all of her hourglasses lay slantly.
Even after Zareen had begun traveling again, Fajr felt tempted to use her powers for every little thing. But she realized that she was internally lecturing herself and it took a lot of self-restraint.
