Acme Time Travel Incorporated - Volume 2
Now that you’ve screwed me Tuesday 18th July 2017 12:35pm

Gabriel had texted Ginny to ask if she wanted to meet him at the Golden Egg café in Frinton for lunch. He knew she had today off work, and so she didn’t have anything special to do.

So now he was standing outside the Golden Egg. This time he was there in plenty of time.

When he had met Ginny here the last time, he had arrived running and nervous. Now things had changed. He had woken up next to her this morning, and he had smiled to see how lovely she looked. He couldn’t believe he was lying in bed with this gorgeous girl.

On their trip last night on the bus, when she had joked about living in a flat paid for by an old guy ... he really hadn’t known she was joking. He had felt pretty stupid about it, but then she had given him one of her wonderful smiles and everything was alright. He knew she wasn’t trying to make fun of him.

She was just a very vibrant and very bubbly person, but with a sense of humour that he found difficult to understand.

He had had breakfast at her flat. She didn’t need to get up, but she had got up anyway and cooked them both breakfast. Her kitchen was very small, but there was a tiny table, big enough for two people, and they had sat there and ate the breakfast she had cooked.

He didn’t think that he had ever been as happy before in his entire life.

After breakfast, she had walked with him down to the bus stop to see him off. Just before he got on the bus, she had grabbed him and given him a big kiss. Then she had nuzzled his ear, breathing her warm breath on it. He had taken the memory of it with him for the entire bus journey. And now she came skipping up the street towards him. She had tied her hair into two pig tails, which bounced up and down as she walked along. She was wearing her tight jeans, hiking boots and her new jacket that Vicky had given her. The jacket was hanging open, and underneath it Gabriel could see she had on a T-shirt with a slogan on it. The jacket made it difficult to read what the slogan was.

It looked like

dness is li

gravity

ll you nee

s a little p

She ran up to him for the last few yards, and stopped three feet in front of him, giving him a very coy smile.

“Trying to catch a glimpse then, are you mister?” she said.

She pulled open her jacket, as if flaunting her breasts at him.

He could see that her T-shirt said

Madness is like

gravity

All you need

Is a little push

She leaned up and gave him a kiss on the cheek, but then, looking very serious, she said, “I was just thinking. Are you going to dump me now, Gabriel?”

Gabriel didn’t know what to say.

She whispered into his ear. “Well, you know, now that you’ve screwed me ... well, lots of guys ... that’s all they want. And after that, they don’t want to know you.”

She pulled back from him, giving him an enquiring stare.

She started to chuckle. Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ Find_Nøvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“Sorry Gabriel. I think my jokes worry you. Maybe I shouldn’t tease.”

She leaned up and gave him another quick kiss on the cheek.

“Anyway, come on, lover-boy. Let’s get something to eat. We’d better get your strength up,” she said, pulling him into the café.

. . . . . . . .

They sat down at a window table. Ginny’s friend, Sally, her friend who worked there, came up to take their order.

“Hi guys,” Sally said, winking at Ginny. Then looking at Gabriel; “God, you look tired. Been up all night, have you?”

Ginny gave her friend a knowing look, whilst Gabriel felt his cheeks starting to burn.

Sally bent down to whisper something into Ginny’s ear. Ginny laughed and whispered something back.

Sally took their order and made her way back into the kitchen, winking at Ginny as she did so.

“What did she say?” Gabriel asked.

“She said you looked like a big, upstanding boy,” Ginny said, chuckling.

“Oh ... ok,” Gabriel said. He hadn’t expected to understand, so he was not surprised.

Suddenly Ginny looked a bit rueful, and said, “Is Vicky online?”

Gabriel looked confused.

“I mean, has Vicky just heard what we have been talking about?”

Gabriel recounted their conversation since he had met with Ginny outside the café and saw where Ginny was going.

“No, she isn’t. Vicky suggested that she go offline before you turned up. I think that she thinks we need some privacy,” Gabriel said.

“I wonder why she thinks that then?” Ginny said, a sense of relief on her face.

. . . . . . . .

The food turned up, and they began to eat, though Gabriel seemed to be just toying with his; pushing a chip around his plate.

“I was thinking that we should go and see John,” Gabriel said cautiously.

“I had thought the same thing,” Ginny said.

Gabriel seemed to visibly relax.

“Were you thinking of telling him about your idea ... you know ... get to the future and see if you could get another STU from ACME ?” Ginny asked.

“Yes. And, I thought we could see how his health is. Maybe Vicky could give him a ‘top-up’, to try to keep him ok.”

“When did you want to go to see him?” Ginny asked.

“Barney suggested we go this afternoon,” Gabriel said.

“Does Barney know that I am with you, then?” Ginny asked.

Gabriel looked a bit shame-faced. “I don’t think that I stand up well against tough questioning,” he said.

“I think Barney is concerned about you, is all,” Ginny remarked.

He looked up at Ginny, who was watching him with a fond smile on her face.

“That breakfast we had this morning was marvellous,” he said.

“Thank you,” said Ginny, smiling.

“Maybe we could do it again,” he said, feeling suddenly nervous. This was distinctly new territory for Gabriel.

“Oh, I don’t know about that,” she chuckled.

Gabriel felt crest-fallen, but he tried to put a brave face on it.

Ginny pulled her chair round so that she was sitting close to Gabriel.

Gabriel looked at her quizzically.

She licked her finger, then she slowly ran her dampened finger around his ear.

Gabriel closed his eyes, feeling the moistness ... feeling her finger slowly teasing the outside rim of his ear.

She leaned in to him, kissing him delicately on his cheek ... kissing him on his closed eye-lids.

Gabriel sat mesmerised, unable to move or speak.

She sat back. She pulled her chair back to its original position.

Gabriel opened his eyes.

“Gabriel?” Ginny said.

“Yes?” said Gabriel wistfully.

“Well ... I was just thinking ...”

“Yes ... what?”

“I thought ... maybe we could do the breakfast thing again,” she said, “but only if you really liked it.”

Gabriel felt his heart miss a beat, and his mouth went dry.

Ginny watched him. Then, as if nothing had happened, she said, “so what time do you want to go to see John?”

“After we have had lunch,” Gabriel said. “That’s what I was thinking.”

“Are you sure that’s what you were thinking,” Ginny said, chuckling.
