Don’t use him all up Tuesday 18th July 2017 9:15 pm

“When is Moth coming back?” Gabriel asked.

They were sitting in the little kitchen in Ginny’s flat, eating the pasta dish that Ginny had suggested earlier. sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ Find_Nøvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“Maybe tonight, or maybe tomorrow,” Ginny said.

She could see that Gabriel was a bit worried about meeting Ginny’s flat-mate. She would have to try to bolster up his confidence a bit.

“She’s really nice,” Ginny said, reassuringly, “otherwise I wouldn’t be sharing a flat with her.”

“Yeah, sure,” Gabriel said, somewhat apprehensively.

Gabriel finished his last fork full. “That was nice, Ginny. Thank you.”

“It was a pleasure,” Ginny replied. “Come on, let’s wash up and then how about we go for a little walk.”

“It’s dark out.”

“Afraid of the werewolves?” Ginny asked, chuckling.

“I guess not,” said Gabriel.

“I tell you what,” Ginny said. “How’s about you wash up, and I’ll get ready for the walk.”

“What, preparing the sharpened stakes?” Gabriel said.

“Something like that,” Ginny said.

“Ok,” Gabriel said, and started looking around the kitchen, pulling open drawers.

Ginny looked over, watching him pulling open the drawers.

“Looking for dish-cloths and stuff,” he said, in explanation.

“Ok,” Ginny said smiling.

She made her way into her bedroom. She could hear Gabriel putting the pots in the sink, squirting in a few drops of washing up liquid and then getting under way. He started to sing a little song ... too low for her to hear what it was. She smiled to herself. She had guessed (or hoped anyway) that if she gave Gabriel a little task to do, that he would start to feel more like he belonged.

She heard footsteps coming up the stairs to the flat, and the sound of a key being inserted into the lock. As she came out of the bedroom, the front door opened and Moth, her flatmate, came in. She was a slim, pretty girl with startlingly ginger hair. She was carrying two holdalls. She put them down and walked straight through into the kitchen, where Gabriel was holding a plate and a tea-towel.

“Hi, Moth,” Ginny called. “This is Gabriel. He might be staying over for a bit.”

Moth stood and looked Gabriel up and down, appraisingly.

Gabriel put the plate and the tea-towel down. He looked a bit uncomfortable, but then Moth gently took hold of Gabriel’s elbows, using them to slowly spin him around.

Moth stood back. Gabriel obligingly continued to spin around slowly. He couldn’t help but to smile.

She leaned over to him to stop his spinning, then turning to Ginny, she said; “Well, he’s very cute looking, Ginny. I have to admire your taste.”

Ginny smiled back at Moth.

“Oh, you didn’t bring him back for me, did you Ginny?” Moth asked, with a cheeky smile on her face, “cos if you did, well ...”

Moth leaned up and grabbed Gabriel, licking his cheek slowly with her tongue.

“Hmm, yum, thanks Ginny,” Moth said. “And now I’ve licked him, now he’s mine.”

“No way, girl ... Gabriel’s all mine,” Ginny said laughing, catching Gabriel’s eye as she did so.

“Well, don’t use him all up,” Moth chuckled, “just in case.”

Ginny looked at Gabriel, who seemed very happy to be a part of this little show. She thought maybe it was going to work out ok after all, despite her reservations.
