The small female hissed and removed Carey's hand angrily from her body.

She tried, she tried to keep herself together but she couldn't control the tears that slipped from her eyes.

Daciana has never felt insulted before like she has been right now.

Carey smirked after Daciana slapped his hand away.

Daciana poured with anger vibrating from her body. She had imagined this happening but she didn't think it will happen toc soon.

She asked consecutively without a break. Daciana sighed, seeing Kaira relieved her, at least, she wouldn't think about what just happened.

“Which do I answer first now then?” She narrowed her eyes at Kaira.

“You can answer them one after the other my Queen” she grinned.

“Il am here because I want us to walk to the field together, to answer your second question no,

Iam not supposed to be resting, I have work to do remember? And my arm is healing very well, I am not interested in having a breakfast this morning”

Daciana explained, how much she hates long explanations but Kaira is turning her into a loquacious person.

“Who said you could work my Queen?” She asked again. Daciana groaned becoming tired of her numerous questions. How does she do it?

“Because I have to?” She replied rolling her eyes.

Kaira shook her head negatively taking a glance at her arm.

“How do you intend to work with your arm? It will only increase the pain and it won't heal quickly” she said.

Daciana couldn't agree less, it's true that the pain might worsen but what other choice does she have?

“I will manage” she replied with a shrug.

“No, you can't work, I will work your portion and mine today my Queen, you don’t have to worry” Kaira protested.

She doesn't want her Queen's arm to get broken or even worse. And being aware of how tedious working on the mines is, sh kicked against the idea.

“I can manage really, you can't over work yourself because of me Kaira” Daciana shipped in.

“Am I complaining? AllI want you to do is go back to your room, climb onto your bed, wait for me to bring in your food, get your arm cleaned and have a long rest”

She replied pushing Daciana to the direction she cane from earlier.

Five hours later...

Alpha Connor looked around as both him and Dolphus stepped into Dean's pack.

It's been a long journey but they arrived finally.

All the memories he had here came flushing back. He could see his younger self and his father walking around like commoners.

His father was so different from a lot of rulers, he tried to make everyone comfortable in his pack.

His motto was that power doesn't matter, what matters most is unity and love irrespective of your status.

The passerbys stared at the two demigods following behind each other.

“The Alpha's tower, I am sure they are there enjoying themselves in my father's home, let's visit there first”

He answered with a smile on his face, a smile that wasn't from his heart.

It was a smile that held danger and war. For now, he is here to destroy.
