Dominic's POV

“Secure our borders, send more guards to keep watch on the gate, I don't want any surprises, keep all intruders out." I instructed Carl and Harriet as I shifted into my beast and went out to engage the infiltrators before they could get here.

I got a report from my spies to inform me that the king is sending some warriors to infiltrate my castle. I sent some men to investigate and they confirmed that it is true. He had planned to take me unawares. He must have heard about my victory party, that is why he sent his men over to sneak in when we weren't looking.

I've gota mole in my camp and he/she is biting more than they can chew. My castle is fortified like a fortress and I'm pretty sure that they can never sneak past my security measures. I had my warriors split into four groups and we chased them through the woods, driving them towards one of the minefields around my borders. We watched them get blown into bits and pieces, putting an end to their miserable lives. King Ashford is nothing but a spineless kitty cat. He keeps sending his warriors to their death while he seats back in his palace and indulges in his frivolous lifestyle.

I have sworn not to be such a lazy king, I love being in the game and I get a kick from all these actions, it's taking my mind of Bethany and I get to taunt king Ashford and make him go mad with videos of my victories, it's so much fun. I stopped by the Alphas court and I called for an emergency meeting with all the Alphas, someone among them is messing with me. My instinct says it's Alpha Robert Delaney, but I still haven't been able to prove anything so I let him roam freely, letting him to believe that he is too smart to be caught. But I have him on strict watch and soon, I'll be able to find out how he communicates and send information to king Ashford. When I gather enough evidence to implicate him, I'll call him out on hi deeds and have him hanged for treachery. He is beginning to take my leniency for weakness and it's f****g pissing me off. “Someone among you is leaking information to king Ashford. Now, I know a lot of you still feel that you owe him your loyalty I think I have been patient enough with you all and right now, I am here to announce to you that as of today, I am now fully dedicated to searching for the mole among us and his accomplice. This is a warning to anyone that still feel that I am not fit to be king, this is a warning to all those plotting against me right under my roof, be warned, Alphas. If I discover the culprit or culprits responsible for all this, I would not be lenient in my punishment. You will be hanged and your family will be banished out of my kingdom and ill be sure to send them over to King Ashford. Let's see how they survive as slaves to the Lycans.

I did not wait for their questions, I got up and left their presence right after I expressed my displeasure.

It was already 6:00 pm when we arrived back at Castle Black. I was informed of the arrival of the girls and I could see that th banquet hall has been prepared. I did not realize how hungry I was until I got hit by an aroma coming from the kitchen. Bianca has outdone herself again, she is such a good cook. She is the last daughter of Alpha Richard of the pitch-black pack Alpha Richard is one of the wise Alphas that agreed to support my reign. A few days after I conquered his pack, he offered hi last daughter to me, asking me to train her to be like Harriet. I tried training her as a warrior but she just doesn't belong to the battlefield. I was planning to send her back to her father's house before she gets herself killed in training, then she confessed to me that she is more skilled in the kitchen and she offered to work in my kitchen and oversee the affairs of my castle.

I accepted her offer because I know that she has the expertise to run this Castle perfectly besides, I have no plans of mating with any she-wolf anytime soon. She is an Alphas daughter and she is used to being in charge. So far, she has been doing great and her cooking is to die for. She had amazed me with her special skills in the kitchen. Her foods are so good, so frrr4g good. One time, she tried to make a pass at me and I got so pissed at her because I make it a habit not to fool aroun with omega’s or other domestic staffers, I plan to lead by example so I try to keep my hands off the girls. I prefer using the girls at the club to satis2fy my desires, that way, I don't have to be scared about getting tricked or blackmailed.

When Bianca tried to get down with me, I had wanted to send her away, but I just couldn't do it, I would not be able to eat any other food that is not prepared by her, she is just too good, so good. I put up with some of her nasty behaviour because know that she is a keeper, her food could make a grown man forget his own name. I ran u the stairs to my room, taking the stairs two at a time so I can hurry down and eat some of those delicious meals that are making me salivate right now. I'm sure that everyone would be waiting impatiently for me but that is not my major concern right now, all I want to do is to eat those delightful, tasty meals.

I'am hoping that some of my men would find their mates among these girls, our population is decreasing every year. It's pretty difficult to find a mate. Most guys don't wait for their mates anymore, you simply get a girl you're compatible with anc you get mated, it's as simple as that. I spent some time in the bathroom, trying desperately to wash off the stench of the lycan blood that splash on us when they got blown away. I hope I don't steal someone's mate tonight because I look good, so damn good. I wish Bethany could see me tonight, I know she would drool at my good looks, she would never be able to resist my charms, I'm so irresistible. As I walked down the stairs, I felt Scott stirring in my head. I didn't think much into it, I guessed he simply wants to ruin my fun as usual. I pushed him to the back of my head and I shut out his rambling, he can be so annoying sometimes. If you ask me, I think Scott wants “me to turn celibate simply because I could not find his mate. I walked into the banquet hall and an applaud erupted in the hall as they all cheered and applauded my entrance. I took my seat at the end of the table, then I made a hand gesture for them to sit down and they all sat down in their respective seats.

I wish for you all to find your mates, believe me, I know how difficult it is for a warrior to live without his mate to bring him peace of mind.

I took a bit from a few plates, confused on what to settle for because everything looked pretty appetizing. I bit into the bacon-wrapped scallop that seemed to be topped with some sort of creamy substance on the top. I had to suppress a most as the taste exploded in my mouth. My eyes wanted to roll into the back of my eyes. I ignored everyone around, not bothering much with the chit chat except to agree with people that were praising the food. The sleeves are thin and off-shoulder with a long slit on the right side running up her thigh, exposing her beautiful, spotless long legs. The back of the gown has a very low neckline that shows off my flawless skin at her back, and her red heels match with her purse and hair. Her wavy red hair is combed out and it flows down her shoulder, giving her an enchanting look. She wore a gold earring, necklace and bracelet that suits me and compliments her outfit, I just couldn't take my eyes off her.

“The redhead is mine," I told everyone through our mind link, but I had my eyes on her, looking closely at her face. She had her eyes down and I could tell that she is avoiding my eyes on purpose, but it doesn't change a damn thing. That face, that pretty face that had nearly made me go crazy.
