Bethany's POV

Damn,

He got me. He had scared the s**t out of me when he pretended to be angry, I thought he would lose it and call me a freaking w***e. For f***s sake I even thought that I was a w***e, I thought I could no longer control my libido. Who would have thought that king Ashford is not just a bastard, he is also a con artist, a thief who manipulates ladies into believing tha they have feelings for him, whereas it is all lies, it's all black magic and hypnotic powers. I wonder what else he can do with his powers, I wonder why Dominic has not informed everyone about this, the men need to know so they can try and protect their mates, and the women also need to know so they can at least try to avoid any situation that could bring them in close contact with King Ashford. They may not have any powers to defend themselves against his hypnotic powers, but they can at least try to avoid him completely. Instead of finding a way to inform everyone on how to protect themselves, he chose to laugh like a f*****g clown. I think he doesn't know how dangerous it is for a man to have the powers to make any woman fal for him, he can make any woman swoon into his arms without complaint or resistance. He thinks it is a f*****g joke, but I'l show him how dangerous it can be, I'l give him a taste of his own medicine. Since he loves teasing me so much, how about switching things a bit, let's see how he handles it.

“Why didn't you tell me, Dom, why did you make me go through all that, do you know what you have done, I would never have gone in there if I knew I couldn't resist him, I would never have gone into that room, I would never have let him touch me” I muttered softly, faking a sob to make it look real. I noticed the change in the atmosphere almost immediately, I wante to peek at him and see his face right now, but that would give me away besides, I don't need to see his face to know how he is feeling, I can feel his anger and I can feel the drastic change in his aura, he is as pissed as hell and that is exactly what I want.

“What room, what the f**k are you talking about, I thought I just heard you saying that you had only seen him on the screen during a conference call, how the hell did that story change all of a sudden, why would you lie to me.” He asked calmly, too calmly if you ask me. I can tell that he is struggling to control his anger, I can hear the edge in his voice as he talks. I guess h doesn't want to scare me away, he wants me to spill everything, and he wants me to think he is calm so I can tell him the truth. Well, he doesn't have to fake calmness, I'm going to tell him what he wants to hear anyway.

I thought it is my fault, I thought I couldn't control my lustful desires, I thought you were going to blame me, that is why I lied, in so sorry my love. Gosh, I've never seen him this furious, his eyes are darkened with rage, his canines are protruding from his gum and he look so angry that it scared the s**t out of me. I wanted to burst into laughter, but I decided to hold back a little and see how far he would go.

“SHUT THE F**k UPI" He roared out so loudly that the whole room vibrated from the sound of his voice.

“I don't want to f*****g hear it, but guess what, Bethany, somebody will have to pay for this. I can’t kill King Ashford right now, but Ill still have my revenge anyway. I won't spare anyone, not even that traitorous father of yours, he dies tonight.” He barked out furiously and stormed out of my presence, heading for the door. Damn, he looks so f****g hot right now, so hot and so sexy. I was tempted to laugh out loudly, but I thought against it, he is too pissed off to understand the reason for my laughter. I can't believe that he wants to kill someone because of me. Wait, would he have killed my father, it would be such a relief if that guy meets his Waterloo, he deserves anything that Dominic does to him. “Let us put all the jokes aside Dom, you can't hide such vital information from your people, you have to tell everyone about it. It didn't happen to me, but we both know that it is a possibility, it could have happened to me or any other person. This should be a huge lesson for you, let everyone know the truth, let them learn his tactic, that way they can avoid such a terrible occurrence.” I warned.

“You are right Beth, I did learn a lesson from all this. Guess what it is” He muttered softly.

“I'm guessing that it has nothing to do with telling everyone the truth.”

“No my love, I have no plans of telling everyone the truth right now. But I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with that pretty mouth of yours that you always use to play pranks on me and tease me. I need to tame that pretty mouth of yours, I need to teach you a lesson and by the time I'm done with you, I'm sure you won't be able to walk for a whole day." He threatened fiercely, backing me up against a wall, bringing his lips down on mine, kissing me so passionately, lifting me up t straddle his hips. On their own accord, my arms went around his shoulder as I deepened our kiss, matching his passion and urgency with mine,

“Don't ever pull a stunt like that with me Bethany, someone could get hurt in the process. I don't even want to think about it I would have killed someone.” he scolded me.
