Chapter 2

Tyler stormed out of his bedroom and went to his office. He was in a bad mood because he had been informed by his Beta Norman that one of the warriors of the broader had killed a rogue that was trying to trespass to his pack’s territory.

Come to my office now. I mind linked Norman.

I am on my way Alpha. Norman answered.

Norman arrived faster than I expected. He explained to me about the case and I suggested that we go out and stroll in the streets for some fresh air.

Norman couldn’t refuse because he has been my friend since the day when we met at the training camp when I was five and he was six years. We always go out together, we used to attend the same school from grade one to university.

The difference between me and Norman is that Norman got his mate last year while I on the other hand Alpha of Blue Star pack had not yet found my own mate. Sometimes I get jealous of how he is happy with his mate while I was living my life in loneliness.

“Let me grab my coat and tell Bree that am stepping out for some time.” He said and left.

“Norman if you had any plans with Bree just let me know then I will go alone. It’s no big deal.”

He turned and looked at me “No we have no plans.”

I went to the porch and when Norman arrived we went together to the car and drove off. When we got to town we parked the car and started to go to the club for some few beers.

When we were walking past a fast food restaurant my blood shot up in a jolt then I caught a sweet smell of lavender rosemary fragrance. I tried to ignore it but the scent got stronger and strong as I neared the café.

Norman noticed my hesitation and asked what was wrong. “There’s a sweet scent that’s pulling me to its source which I think is at that café.” I answered brushing my hair with my fingers.

Norman just laugh and said “Go met your mate man because I know that feeling better than you.”

“You must be joking-” but when I saw his facial expression I knew that he was really serious. We got to the cafe and immediately Shane my wolf started to torment me.

Mate, that’s our mate Tyler. Can I come out to say hello. He started to take control.

Don’t you dare try that or I will block you completely when am with her.

She was so beautiful she had brown long hair, perfect green eyes that lights up when she smiles, dimples on both cheeks but most importantly her smile was so pretty that I lost my mind and Shane almost took control then.

“Pull yourself together and go talk to her man.” I heard Norman telling me.

I couldn’t even figure out what I was going to tell her I just heard myself say “Hello, can I please ask you something.”

“Yes I guess.” Shit she had the most beautiful voice of all. Thank you Moon Goddess for giving me such a wonderful mate.

“Am Tyler, what’s your name.” She was blushing and I loved it.

She said “I am-am” she removed her hand from my grip and I knew that she also felt the shivers that we were giving ourselves “Meg, Megan Williams.”

“You have such a beautiful name my ma-Meg.” I almost blew it by calling her my mate.

“Thank you, who is your friend” she said looking at Norman whom I had totally forgot that we were together.

“This is my Bet- Best friend Norman” I said looking at him who also looked like he was somehow shocked. She offered her hand to Norman for him to greet her but Shane and I got jealous at once.

You only have I second. Don’t take more than I second with the greeting or help me Moon Goddess I will tear you throat out in seconds. I mind linked him immediately. He just laughed and shook her hand.
