Third Person’s P.O.V. 

Luna growled aloud, shaking the whole area with her roar. She was enraged because of their attack. They dared to attack her pack and tried to kill her warriors. She was now charging towards the hybrids with all her strength while using her elemental power, shifting frequently in her human form, and in her wolf form. She dodged their attacks, but pulled their hearts out of their chests mercilessly. Their healing abilities were better than earlier. So she came. up with another way to kill them. 

Everyone was now following her lead. Half of the warriors were in the human form. They were shooting those hybrids from afar, and other shifted warriors- immediately pulled their hearts out of their bodies as soon as their bodies hit the ground after getting shot. “Just hang on for a bit more, my love…. I am already close to you,” Theo mind linked her one more time, assuring her that he was almost closed to her. 

She didn’t answer him, and concentrated on the battle as she had to keep her people safe too. She threw the heart that she had pulled out right now and saw the lifeless b*dy of the hybrid falling down on the ground. She was in her half shift ståte right now. She growled aloud when she felt more presence around them. 

“Vampires,” she roared at the top of her lungs and looked in the direction. from where she got the whiff of the vampires. “Rogues,” someone yelled at the same time, and Luna’s anger hit the sky this time. Her thirst for blood intensified but she felt something odd in her behavior. She wanted to suck the blood of those vampires. She was a werewolf, not a blood sucker like vampires. She could eat raw meat, but drinking blood was not something that she could even think. Yet her urge to drink blood was now over her resistance. 

She roared aloud once again and started running towards the direction of the vampires. Her speed was now better than earlier. She felt that her speed had tripled her usual speed right now. “Luna.” Suddenly someone called her from behind, making her stop in her tracks. At the same time, a hybrid lunged over her, but he missed her as she stopped a bit earlier. Without wasting even a second, she immediately slashed his n*eck through her extended nails, and before he could do anything else or hurt her, she pulled his heart out too.

“We shouldn’t run deep inside the forest,” she stopped suddenly while looking deep inside the forest. “I think so too,” Nelson said in a serious tone. She concentrated on her hearing, and heard some faint heartbeats. She concentrated more, and scoffed bitterly. “They have set a trap for us,” she said to Nelson while glaring in the same direction. The vampires had stopped in the middle of the forest somewhere.

Luna took a deep breath and thought about climbing abilities of a vampire. She jumped high on the bark of a thick tree. To her surprise, she managed to jumped higher than she anticipated. 

In a few attempts, she was at the highest branch of that tree. She made her comfortable herself there before looking for the vampires, hybrids, and rogues in the mild of the forest, a little far from her position right now, “Where are you?” Theo mind linked her and asked her in an anxious tone. “I am perfectly alright, my love. I am just doing some sight–seeing right now,” she immediately assured Theo about her well–being. 

“Ask Alpha Adrian and Dad to activate the mines there,” she suddenly instructed Theo when she felt a sudden change in their position. They were moving in the other direction. “Retreat and activate the mines here too,” she barked her next instruction while listening to the faint steps which was coming from the other direction. They were still circling around them. 

“All the warriors, and guards….. keep inside the border line and don’t go out… not matter what is the situation,” Luna suddenly mind–linked all the warriors. and guards from her pack, and from the neighboring pack when she heard someone talking about drawing the warriors out of the pack land so that they could kill them easily. Little did they know that both Luna and Nelson could

She could command him, but she didn’t want to do that. She could feel his frustration and anxiety. 

“I am far from their reach, my love. I will ask you to open the gates for me whenever I will feel safe to come back. I am not far away from you,” she consoled her mate one more time before mind–linking Nelson.
