Chapter 25

The cells were cold, with concrete on the floor and nothing to lie down.

Lotta felt cold because she was dragged out of bed just in a nightgown.

She remembered that Suzy was there, bringing her water, when something slammed on the door, and a bunch of rogues went inside through the window, then they killed guards and dragged them into the room, through the broken door.

There was blood everywhere.

They masked the smell and transformed, so they could surprise the guards and kill them without a chance for them.

Lotta tried to protect Suzy, who wanted to protect her, but she was too weak.

They hit her hard and she fainted.

Lotta was fighting them, and she almost succeeded, but the strongest one among them, the ugly black werewolf, transformed into a human and jumped from behind with some cloth, managing to put it in Lotta's mouth.

She knew it was a strong drug, and although she felt weak, she didn't give up, but the rogues saw that and grabbed her, helping their leader to calm her down.

She was here now, in some strange and unfamiliar place, with some people who wanted to harm her.

Did she know them, or did they know her?

What about Suzy?

"Luna, are you there?" She heard Suzy calling her, but her voice was weak, and she was whispering.

"Suzy? Lotta whispered too.

"Oh, thank God, you're here, I thought that they harmed you", Suzy said.

"I'm here, not harmed, but you got a nasty blow, are you okay?" Lotta asked her.

"Yes, my Luna, I'm fine, just a few bruises and some blood.

I used that, so I tore my gown and left a trace for Alpha to follow us", Suzy told her.

"Oh, I'm so glad you're okay, and a smart girl too", Lotta smiled.

"Is somebody there?" Lotta asked and went closer to the cell doors.

She couldn't see into the other cell that well but she was sure that someone was there.

The person was lying on the floor and there was a lot of blood around her.

She could barely move, but Lotta could hear her breathing like she was in significant pain.

"I can hear you breath, can you speak?" Lotta asked again, but she didn't hear anything, just a sound like somebody was moving slowly in there.

She gave up and walked away from the door, but then she heard something.

Her name.

"Lotta..."

It was a woman's voice, and familiar too, but Lotta couldn't believe in that.

"Forgive me, please..., I didn't know...Lotta..."

Lotta was in shock.

It was Agatha's voice, and Suzy heard it too and she was scared.

"Agatha?" Lotta whispered, trying to get closer, squeezing bars, but she couldn't believe what she saw.

That girl looked nothing like Agatha, she was a living dead, and only her eyes could tell it was she.

Torture and pain did that to her and Lotta felt sick.

She remembered the day that Agatha whipped her, but that was monstrous.

Lotta wouldn't want that for anyone, never, that's why she felt sorry for her.

No one deserved that.

Maybe there was a person who was so mean and deserved to be punished, but Lotta's heart was different, mainly because Agatha was her friend.

She was also Drake's sister and anything that was going on between them, wasn't her concern.

That was a very dangerous person, the one who was keeping them.

And a very sick, too.

Lotta knew that she saw it in his eyes the same night he kidnapped her, especially now, she was sure of it when she saw Agatha.

"Who did this to you?" Lotta asked her, while Suzy was listening holding her breath.

"He won't let you go..." Agatha whispered barely.

"Who is he?" Lotta asked again, now she was angry.

"Seth..., the man that killed my father..." Agatha said.

"Alpha is dead, oh God!" Suzy almost cried and Lotta felt coldness through her body.

She couldn't believe what she had heard just a moment ago.

"Be quiet Suzy, please", she warned her.

She wondered who was Seth because she didn't know anyone with that name.

"Listen to me Agatha, you need to stay strong, you hear me?" Lotta talked to her.

"Your brother will find us and that man, whoever he is, will pay for everything he has done", she said.

"He's crazy ..." Agatha said.

"So am I, when somebody kidnapped me in the middle of the night from my bed", Lotta answered.

"Well, I thought you won't come with me if I ask you nicely", a mean unfamiliar voice said.

Lotta recognized the man behind that voice.

It was him, Seth!

"Alpha, we found Luna Mary", Jules yelled to Drake.

"Where is she?" He asked with a serious tone.

"Drake, ...she's not in a good state, I must warn you", Viktor told him.

"I asked where is she", Drake's voice sounded like a warning.

"At the hospital", Viktor answered, and Drake didn't waste no time.

Luna Mary was lying on the bed, full of claw marks on her body.

She was heavily wounded, weak, and could barely speak.

The nurse was giving her an infusion.

"Where is Martin?" Drake yelled.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you, Drake", Viktor said.

"They took him too, that's why Luna is in this state, she tried to stop them".

"What the hell she was doing here at that time?" Drake was thinking out loud.

"We found sleeping pills on the floor, I guess she came for them", Viktor said.

"His replacement will be here soon", he said to Drake.

"Son...", Mary called him, and he was fast next to her.

"Mother, you should be resting, not talking, the doctor will be here soon", he told her.

"Your father is waiting for me, I know that, and so do you", Mary said.

"By the time the doctor comes, I'll be with him."

"Go and find them, do not waste time...", she said and fainted, leaving Drake's heart in pieces.

He felt that he wouldn't see his mother alive again, but there was a person he swore that he will, and will bring her back, no matter what.
