Summary
Angelo thinks sitting on a long, boring train ride will be the worst thing to happen to him as he travels to the city Sraff for a special festival, but he couldn't be more wrong. Angelo, a fourteen year old boy travels to the city Sraff with his parents for a special festival that only takes place at the beginning of summer every year. However, when he arrives, he finds more forces working underneath the surface, and not everyone is who they say they are. His new friends introduce him to the world of Alchemy, Magic, and the life of a former Pirate. With Cara, Ember, and Vince at his side, Angelo must run from a general of a foreign country, and eventually try to stop him before he attempts to unleash an ancient force of destruction trapped in an old statue, one of the Siribi named, Anansi.
