Despite Eduard’s robust health, Mikayla was still worried. So, she specifically told Williamn to call her. immediately whenever Eduard felt uncomfortable. 

She became nervous when she saw this number. “William, did something happen to Grandpa?” 

“Mr. Davidson Senior is fine,” William reassured her. “He’s going to see an old friend today. He might be 

away for a few days. I’m just informing you so you wouldn’t worry.” 

“Where is Grandpa going? Who is he meeting? Why didn’t he tell me in advance?” Mikayla asked. 

“He only decided to go yesterday. He said it was an old friend from Lakeville whom he hadn’t seen for a long time. That friend is sick now, so he wants to go there and visit him. He’s afraid that he might never 

have a chance to see his friend again if he doesn’t go this time.”

Mikayla suddenly remembered something.

“Don’t worry, Kay. I’ll take good care of Mr. Davidson Senior,” William said, “If you don’t have anything else,

“William, when are you two leaving?” Mikayla asked. 

“We plan to book a 2:00 pm flight. We’ll head to the airport after lunch.” 

“Please send me Grandpa’s ID number. I’ll book the flight tickets. I’ll accompany him to Lakeville.” 

“But Mr. Davidson Senior said you’re busy. He’s only going for three or four days. It’s enough for me to accompany him.” 

Mikayla insisted, “It doesn’t matter. I’m not busy lately. I’ll go with him.”
