BATTLES: The Royal Invasion -
Prologue
It was 3:30 pm when the bell rang announcing the end of another day for John and his 10th anniversary as stock broker. A world he entered with high ambitious wishing to become the master of the universe one day but he didn’t imagine in his wildest dreams that he will meet him.
John’s phone rang, it was his friend Michael: what’s up man… no I didn’t forgot… alright I’ll pick you up.
John walked out from the company’s glassy building leaving behind him a day to forget as many companies got affected by the recession and the company that John is working for one of them which was on its way to go bankrupt.
John drove his way as he was thinking about the future of his family, even the car he was driving he didn’t pay its price fully but a very bright light illuminated John’s head which was filled with dark thoughts but no one could not see its source because of New York’s concrete jungle.
“Is that a meteor?” John said. It was moments before traffic goes back to normal again.
When John entered the bar every person was staring at the black box with hypnotized-like eyes and mouths he didn’t know if they forgot to close. Despite it was crowded John could spot his friend, he didn’t seem different an wide opened mouth and eyes, John got closer to look at what people looking at to put his eyes on the most horrific thing he saw ever. Breaking news: Los Angeles is destroyed.
“Is that has something to do with that light?” said Michael with a voice full of horror.
“You saw it?” said John.
“Everybody saw it”
“What do you mean by ‘everybody’?”
“The whole world…similar to this light was witnessed around the world...whole countries been destroyed”
The screen suddenly turned to black “what now?” said John. Moments and he saw the answer by himself with the appearing of symbol of some kind, just a circle with a galaxy inside it and under that symbol there were words written in weird letters. The symbol disappeared and a young Caucasian man with black soft hair appeared.
The man has wide shoulder and very sharp eyes, he seemed to be in mid 20’s. He broke the silence with a few words: earthlings, I’m Rad the king and leader of kingdom of Terra and we are here to invade you.
Rad disappeared and the transmission goes back to normal leaving people wondering: who was that clown?
“This not the right time for this stupid games…what is these fools thinking about to do something like this at time like this?” John said to himself “Let’s go man I don’t want stay here anymore” John said.
They get inside the car and they still amazed at what they saw, the engine sound broke the silence.
“What do you think is happening?” said Michael.
John took a long breath: it’s apocalypse…but it’s good to see you buddy before it became…you know pitch black.
“You had relatives in LA?” said Michael.
“Yes I had”
“Sorry man”
“It’s okay I should take you home now the government will announce a curfew soon for sure”
