“I found it” said Blake just like Archimedes said before. “I-I can’t believe it…this vision wasn’t bullshit after all” said Blake to himself after he managed to discover the new drug that will turn the resistance soldiers to a super soldiers, after he used the same composition he saw in that vision. He tried it first on an injured soldier with a very little dose and that –heavily injured soldier- was totally healed, and not just that but his abilities and his senses become better than before. That injured soldier managed to jump 10 meters up in the air.

“This quantities was…amazingly accurate…but how?” Blake was unable to understand how this could happen, it’s impossible that some mix could work according to some dream.

Blake walked out from the lab leaning on his cane to announce it to the world. “I have a way to defeat the aliens”.

Everyone in the base was looking at Blake with wide open eyes as he was celebrating and crying along with weird words coming out of his mouth.

“This man surly lost his mind” some of them said before Blake calmed down a little bit so he can explain it to everyone.

“I found it…I found it…I found a way to stop this invasion” cried Blake but no one said anything back, even some of them was cleaning their ears not sure what he just heard.

“What do you mean?” said Captain Adam as he was approaching toward him.

“I just discovered the drug that will turn our soldiers to super soldier who can go toe to toe against them” said Blake enthusiastically.

Captain Adam thought that Blake lost his mind before he grabbed his hand: come with me.

Said Blake as he was dragging Adam and some people followed them to the lab.

“You see this soldier? You know him, he was about to die, right?” said Blake like he was a tour guide.

“He was terribly injured and death was knocking on his soul’s gate”

“I will do it…I’m the one who will be the super soldier” said John as he was looking at Adam in his eyes.

“You can’t…you don’t have the spirit” said Adam as he was looking at John from head to toe.

“And who the fuck you are to say that?”

“I’m the one who will make sure that this drug will stay away from you” said Adam then he wanted to walk through the crowd but some hand grabbed him so he turned at him and yelled: let me go, don’t you ever dare to touch me.

“No, I won’t let you go until you accept” said Franklin with a strong tone.

“Yes, he deserves…this man is the reason that we are alive now” everyone turned their heads toward Ronald before he continued: he sacrificed his life for the group…this guy…is made of gold.

“You don’t have the courage to do what he did” said one lady as the place was rumbling because of the chanting.

Adam raised was looking around him in amazement before he raised his hand in the air so the chanting stopped gradually so his voice become clear: do whatever you want.

Adam said so the lab exploded in screaming and crying.

“So this is how things are going… the prince didn’t gave me the powers in thunder storm or something…but it’s only some drug that was developed by humans, but…” said John to himself as he was going with Blake to inject him with the help of Franklin, when something flashed before his mind: how did you discovered this drug?

Blake smiled: so you didn’t there since the beginning…the dream.

“What dream? Don’t tell me…the dream you told me about?”

“Yes”

John sat on a chair in the lab as he began to be a little nervous but he kicked the bad ideas out of his head knowing that he will get the powers no matter the pain he will feel during the process.

Blake inject him with the drug. First, there was nothing but suddenly the world began to melt before he totally closed his eyes.

“What happened?” Sara said.

“I noticed that he was nervous so I drugged him”

The doctor pulled another injection, this time it was the real deal, he injected him with but there was no sudden effect. It took 5 minutes to the effect to take place on John who was become cold as he was shaking.

“His body is cold like ice” said Sara after she putted her hand on his forehead but she didn’t know that inside-inside John- something was changing.

After 15 minutes his body stopped shaking but he was still cold and he was sweating so much body some changes happened, like he become more muscular and his face become palmy and looks younger.

After more 5 minutes, John opened his eyes and woke up like he wasn’t suffering moments ago.

“Wonderful…Oh, thank God…I thought that I killed you” said Blake with a smile on his face, happy that John is alright. Sara’s happiness was no less than Blake, she hugged John immediately after he woke up.

John took few moments to remember what is going on before he said the first words after he got a cosmic power: I feel like… I’m a new person.

He said as he was looking at his hands and touching where he got injured, but he didn’t find anything, so he stood up and removed his camo uniform and the bandages to see that the injury was totally gone, there’s no stitches or anything.

John began to walk around feeling limitless energy curdling inside him.

“I feel…I feel strange power inside of me…I need some water” John said so Sara brought him some water but the glass smashed in his hand.

“What happened?” John asked but Blake knew the answer.

“You have become super, son…what you can do?” said Franklin.

“I don’t know, let me go out and try”

John walked out from the base, as the sunlight hit him, as the super soldier for the first time. He looked bigger and more muscular than before to Franklin who was out with him along Blake, Adam, Sara and more people.

The people began to cheer him to take the first steps as a superhero but he thought that it wasn’t good time to celebrate.

Doctor Blake was behind him looking at the greatest achievement of the mankind when he asked: what do I do now?

Blake shrugged: I dunno…jump for example.

John quarterly squatted before he jumped high leaving behind him dust and wind.

John, who was disappeared from their sight, was looking around him at the wasteland the city has become on height that exceeded 1000 meter. He looked on his left to see two huge monsters, they were destroying everything in their sight.

“It’s a good chance to try this new body” said John to himself before he started to fall.

“FUCK” John screamed as he was halfway to the ground.

“I managed to jump to this height…can I fly?” said John to himself as he was focusing his energy to fly.

“Get out of the way doctor, he’s falling” said Franklin as he pulled the doctor from his arm and Sara was terrifyingly watching.

John opened his eyes as he was too close to the ground.

“Damn” he yelled it and he closed his eyes but he didn’t feel anything. He gradually opened his eyes to find himself stopped falling few meters off the ground.

They looked to see their hero stuck in the air upside down. But he managed to adjust his position to fly to where he saw the monsters.

“All what I have to do is wishing to fly…just like wishing to walk” said John to himself as trying to control his new powers flying toward the two monsters who could locate them from their tail of destruction.

“It’s time to go to work” John said who dived like the falcon does when it target a prey. John punched one of them on his head so the monster’s skull shattered and it collapsed on the ground lifeless despite it was armored with thick layer of bones.

John landed on the ground and before he notice the other monster attacked him, after he made a distance, with a fire ball that caused an explosion that was equal to the mother of all bombs, so the monster hit his chest with hands like a guerrilla celebrating his easy victory before John came through the fire. The monster didn’t have a chance to stop that flying punch that went through his body. The monster collapsed like the other one, lifeless, and blue blood was coming out of his stomach.

John flew in the air as he was thinking over how he didn’t get even one scratch despite it was a direct hit. “Why I’m feeling that I got stronger after this monster attacked me?” said John to himself as he felt his energy was skyrocketing before he looked around him as he was floating in the air looking for any troubles but suddenly he felt a strange thing, massive energy has been released.

“What is this energy? It came from the space…will my body hold up in the space?” he said then before launching toward the sky with speed that many times the speed of sound.

Meanwhile in the base19, Blake was receiving treatment after he got injured in his head when he slipped on a drop of oil, and when he woke up he didn’t remembered his identity or who he is.
