“My lord…it’s time to wake up” said Darina one of the maidens who is taking care of the king during the day. Despite being from a simple family but her lovable face crowned by a blonde hair made Rad to order her to join the royal society.

Rad headed from his bed to the large window in his luxurious royal room. The ship was floating near the moon, a ship which was looking like a yacht owned by a billionaire, a yacht that was two times the size of earth.

“Why they are resisting?” said Rad as was looking at the planet earth with his super vision ability.

“What is driving them to fight? Despite we made sure to break their hearts by every possible mean”

King Rad has invaded many worlds before and many of them was declaring submission by just seeing some of his power or by seeing his ship.

“Someone is coming” said Rad to himself and suddenly the door knocked.

“Excuse me my lord”

“Come in Kaydos…what is it?”

“There is something I want to inform you about diamond mines in planet Damos”

“What’s wrong with the diamonds mines, Kaydos?”

“The mines workers are planning to go on strike because of the salaries”

“What’s wrong with those people? They agreed about the salaries”

“What do you see my lord?”

“Go to them and tell them if they rebel we will do with what we supposed to do when we invaded their home planet”

“Yes my lord…the queen wants to see you”

No one has the authority in the kingdom over Rad except his mother, queen Bahia. Even Rad couldn’t discuss her about a decision she personally took. Despite all of his destructive power, Rad was like a little kid before her and it wasn’t a problem to her as long as he is doing his duties as a king.

Rad put his royal clothes on and headed to his mother’s royal chamber. She was on her throne waiting her son to arrive who kneeled when he saw her.

“You wanted to see me my mother?”

“Rad…you know that our kingdom is strong and it’s feared by everybody throughout the galaxy but you can’t take an absolute stupid decisions you don’t know it consequences”

“Ma’am…Phoenix kingdom is powerful but it’s also rich with resources and their people has strong bodies and abilities, we can take them as slaves and soldiers for ourselves”

“It’s clear that you can’t understand…It’s true that their kingdom is rich but as you said it’s strong too and their king have the power to manipulate the cosmic energy just like you and he is strong but probably stronger than you”

Rad cried: don’t say stronger. This scum is absolutely nowhere near my powers.

The queen looked at her son with kindness and love: Rad…I understand that you have become a king at very young age and your powers has developed at very high rate no one could imagine, but if your father was alive he would not do that.

Rad cried: my father was a coward old man…the kingdom hasn’t expanded but in my rule, this kingdom was nothing and nobody wasn’t afraid of but in my rule… not in his rule but in my rule.

There was silence, Rad words was true and reasonable.

“Your father wasn’t coward Rad but he managed to build during his rule to build many friendships throughout the galaxy”

“True… they are the same friends who used the technologies we gave against us”

“It was just couple of civilizations among thousands who declared loyalty to us”

“Yes and it was me who fought and destroyed the rebels…without me everybody would’ve think that Terra is weak and defenseless”

The knocking on the door interrupted the conversation.

“Come in”

“Kaydos…how are you today?” said the queen.

“I tried to remind them of what we are capable of”

“Rad… why you can’t just be nice and friendly with them instead of using force…what they are asking Rad?”

“They want higher salaries”

“When we invaded Damos the economic conditions of the kingdom was weak that’s why they salaries was low but don’t you agree that we now can fulfill that need?”

“I don’t think that…we had an agreement if they didn’t like it they could’ve refuse it”

The queen said with angry tone: they was afraid of you, that’s why they couldn’t say anything back.

“As you like my queen I will give them what they want for now but if they decided to strike again I will deal with them my way”
