BATTLES: The Royal Invasion
Chapter 6

On planet Damos, when the king arrived with his minister Kaydos using his teleportation ability, the workers were crowded for their demands of higher salaries. The inhabitants of the planet Damos were not qualified by their nature to work under such harsh circumstances but their bad luck made their planet the biggest producer of diamond in the galaxy and also rich in other resources, and that led to an interstellar war that lasted for years. A war where kings and pirates fought each other to death to control that rich planet and sell its resources in the galactic market, until one king came and finished the war by one strike; a solar beam from his hand was enough for Rad to wipe out an entire armies off existence.

Rad ordered Kaydos to bring the strike leaders and bring them on the ship to talk in his royal meeting room.

When the strike leaders arrived on the ship they were amazed at how the luxurious this place is. The place was graced with pure gold and diamonds and the sofas was made of the best types of leather.

King Rad welcomed them with a fake smile that he tried his best to make it as real as possible then said: welcome aboard…have a seat please.

The strike leaders sat on the sofas uncomfortably, the place was too luxurious for them and they were not accustomed for that. The whole inhabitants of Damos was working in different fields of handcrafts to produce products and sell it in their home planet.

At first there was silence for moments before said one of the strike leaders: my lord…we don’t have anything to ask but one thing and its higher salaries.

“What is your number?” said Rad.

“The double my lord” said another leader.

“Don’t you think the double is too much?”

“My lord…it’s our planet and our resources, we mine them and you do not even give us a portion”

Despite the rudeness of the strike leaders toward a person who destroyed armies just with one strike but he was obeying his mother.

“Alright…let’s have a deal…I won’t give raises but I will give a portion of what you extract”

The strike leaders smiled in happiness when they heard this words before this smiles gone away when Rad continued: but if you accepted this you will be slaves when your resources runs out…what do think?

They couldn’t say anything back, they just was looking at Rad wishing that they didn’t ask for anything in first place. They had two options; they can still work with the same wages until the resources run out therefore this declares the end of the invasion or get what they want and their next generations become slaves to Rad.

The king knew this words effect on them so he didn’t say anything for a few moments before saying: no need to hurry and be wise, your coming generation’s destiny is in the palm of your hand.

The strike leaders had nothing to say back to Rad but one of them said: we didn’t ask for a portion of the resources but we just wanted raises.

“I’m sorry gentlemen we didn’t exchange names…I apologize…I’m king Rad, the king of Terra kingdom”

The strike leaders silenced for a moment before one of them said: I’m Barcon I was a farmer and a father of five children.

“I’m Sark I worked as builder and worked in farming equipment factory”

“My name is Shen I worked as a farmer too”

The king looked at them before he said: I see…now your demands is higher wages, correct?

They looked at each other and replied: yes correct.

King Rad didn’t say anything for moments before smiled at them a sarcastic smile before he said: I was joking with you about taking you as slaves…your bodies cannot take it to be a slave.

The strike leaders was looking at each other trying to understand what was going on.

“I respect strong people who asks for their right and I hate weak people and you hear has shown me some courage so I will give you what you want”

The king called kaydos to bring them back to their planet.

Kaydos putted his hand on Sark’s shoulder and both of his companions put their hands on Kaydos’s shoulder and suddenly all of them was gone. Moments later Kaydos was back.

“They were happy, am I right?” said Rad.

“Yes my lord”

“If they will have a demands like this ever again the only thing they will get is energy blast…anything new about the earthlings?”

“They don’t want to surrender…but they will die starving sooner or later”

“How weird these people are… they picked a fight over working for us”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean imagine yourself in a cell… what would you do?”

“Probably I will fight”

“That’s what is happening here”

There was silence in the room for moments.

“You know Kaydos…I wish that there is a strong person out there ready to fight me...just me and him… not like a war…but more like a competition”

“Most of them are old rulers, they probably will get it as an offensive act”

“You know Kaydos…thousands of years ago…I dreamed of something”

“And what was that dream my lord?”

“I dreamed that a strong warrior like never before appears out of a blue planet…and that was the reason I invaded this planet…because it was blue…I thought this will pull a trigger to him to appear…I dreamed that nearly 5000 years ago”

“Well, looks like it was just you’ve been tired that night”

Rad looked at Kaydos sharply. “Extremely apologize about this my lord”

“Kaydos…I dreamed that he killed me”

Kaydos was like the cat ate his tongue.

“But taking some slaves back with us won’t harm…at least we’ll cover the costs of this operation”

Kaydos was worried as he was listening to Rad’s vision. “You saw his face my lord?”

“No, but I remember his voice”

At that moment Kaydos understood the cause of Rad’s lately strange attitude and strange strategies he puts for the wars he declares, like most of planets he choose to invade is blue, sometimes he decide not to suck up the resources of the invaded planet and just take the people like he was looking for something…or someone. Suddenly Kaydos get why Rad was doing all this…he was scared, Kaydos was working for Rad for thousands of years and this was first time he sees his king is afraid of someone. And that person is not planning to declare war or planning to coup…but he is afraid because of someone he saw in a dream 5000 thousand years ago.

“This is my chance” thought Kaydos.

King Rad was sitting on his throne in his royal room alone with no intentions to have company when someone knocked on the door and he heard a familiar voice coming from behind the door. “Excuse me my king”

She turned her face and went out of the room.

The kingdom was in invisible danger because of Rad’s unbalanced emotions, king Rad who is the supreme leader of Terra kingdom and the responsible person for the economic, military and the law in the kingdom was actually a man on the verge.
