Lilac had to admit that she knew nothing about the tradition or how things worked. here in the lycan pack, but it was hard to uproot what she believed her entire life, yet it would be hypocrite for her if she talked highly about her kind when Aiden had firsthand given the completely wrong example for the tradition that they valued as a werewolf, how Aiden had tainted the sacred mate bond.

Hunter pressed his l*ps, if Lilac had this reaction when she learned that he slept with Grace, he couldn’t imagine what kind of reaction that she would give him, if he really gave her the number.

Lilac glared fiercely at him, she couldn’t believe she happened to fall for him. She thought he would be the one, after her unfortunate encountered with Aiden, but right now, she was not sure.
“How many?” Lilac insisted, she showed her stubborn side again.
Twenty nine if I don’t miscalculate.” Hunter knew she wouldn’t stop until she got the answer out of his mouth, but then he couldn’t lie to her, it was not right for her to be led to.

“I don’t want to talk, I don’t want to eat!” Lilac knew how childish it sounded and Hunter wouldn’t take it seriously.
However, the alpha left her alone for almost two hours before he returned with breakfast and as angry as Lilac was, she couldn’t refuse the food, because she was famished.

She realized how ridiculous it was for her to get angry with him, since the

“Who is that woman?” Lilac asked, she eyed the soup and a few meats on the plates that he brought in a tray. Actually, if Lilac was not this upset, she would have grinned from ear to ear to have someone like Hunter to bring her breakfast to the bed.
She would have been praised as the most fortunate woman and if luna Jasmine knew about this, she would be reprimanded because that was not how a woman should act. It should be the other way around. Luna Jasmine always emphasized how Lilac had to be the one, who served her mate and did this kind of things.
“Grace. She is my childhood friend too, but I am not really close with her until we grew up.”
“And you slept with her?” Lilac pursed her l*ps when Hunter helped her to sit down.
“You sound jealous.”
