Hunter was surprised because he didn’t realize there were so many people hid in the dark until they emerged. They were in their beast form and from the look of it, they must be men under Kellan. 

No matter whether Kellan was his father’s beta, in which he still held so much 

power over the people in this pack, because it was still less than a year since the death of the previous alpha and Hunter was still trying to grasp his power within the people in the pack. 

“Give me back my daughter and I will let you live.” Kellan had the audacity to make this threat, which meant, he was very serious with what he said.

Lilac gulped down, she looked around and was sure if the battle happened, Hunter wouldn’t be able to take this many lycan on his own and she wouldn’t be much help at all. Not to mention how she was in pain, even if she was in her best condition, she wouldn’t be able to fight a beast! 

Lilac was sure if they started fighting, she would be the first person, who was killed without a doubt. She grimaced to think her life would end here when she thought she just started to find happiness. 

Without doubt, Kellan must be Grace’s father and he was trying to revolt against Hunter to get his daughter back, but what puzzled Lilac was; why Hunter was very adamant to not let go of Grace when their life was in danger?

Kellan scrunched his brows. He didn’t understand what Hunter meant with what he was saying. He only had a daughter, therefore, he doted on her so much, seeing her suffering because Hunter rejected her love was already difficult enough, but right now, he witnessed it with his own eyes, how he had marked an outsider. which meant, there was no hope anymore. 

If his daughter couldn’t get him, no one should have him and as a revenge, he would take Hunter down. This was a plan that he had concocted long time ago, actually, despite the matter with Grace. 

He thought, it would be more smooth and have less blood if Hunter accepted Grace, but this young man was really stubborn. 

Kellan raised his hand and all the beasts were ready to attack. “We shouldn’t have come to this point if you agreed to be with my daughter.”
