Beta Xavier Costa - POV

“Oh…O…Oh my god!” the slut kept screaming while I pounced deeper into her. “Oh! Faster baby! Pl…please.” she mumbled as her hands wrapped around my biceps and squeezed while her eyes remained closed. My movement became faster, and slowly, I felt her forehead scrunch up before she tightened around my dick, making me slow my speed when I felt myself reaching my climax shortly after.

I released my seed inside the condom before my shoulder slumped, and I let out a breath. The woman slowly opened her eyes, her pupils still swirling with lust, and she sensually bit her lips. I quickly pulled out from her without a second glance at her naked body and got up from the bed.

Once I heard the front door bang close, I made my way to the bathroom to wash off the scent of that woman, which still disgusted me. “You should stop torturing us like this.” Kyle, my wolf, growled at me, but I ignored him.

“Don't fucking get involved in this, Kyle.” I warned him, which only made him huff, and he blocked our connection. After I was done washing my body, I walked out of the bathroom and made my way to the closet.

“Xavy! Xavy!” I heard the sound of Marquez, which only made me annoyed. After wearing a pair of shorts and a black T-shirt, I walked out of my room and made my way downstairs to see Marquez waiting for me in the living room, he was not alone, Samuel was with him too.

“When is this going to stop, Xavier?” Samual asked the same question again, and I shook my head.

“Just stay out of my personal life,” I told him in a monotone before I made my way to take a seat on my couch.

“I know my limit, Sam. So chill. Why are you guys in my house at this hour?” I asked them both while looking at the time. It was two am, and people tend to sleep at this time and not have a fucking talk.

“I came to speak to you about the Moon Ball, which is going to happen today.”

“I thought all the arrangements were done?” I asked him, and he nodded his head.

“I am not here for that,” Sam said, and this made a frown appear on my face. “Well, before the Alphas and their betas or gamma come here today, I have asked them if they would be willing to ally with us. And I found out that many are reluctant to form an alliance with us.”

“And why is that?” I asked him. I mean, we were the strongest pack in this country, and other packs should see themselves blessed to form an alliance with us.

“It's because the three high-ranking wolves are still single and also because of our past record as well.”

“Which is?”

“We have been less merciful when we destroyed a few packs these past years. And it is still a general knowledge that male wolves would eventually become reckless and ruthless the longer they stay mateless. So they believe that we might turn into some sort of power-hungry beasts.” Marquez explained.

“Well, I don't think we need anyone’s alliance then. We have thrived for this long, and we can still continue that.” I told him, but Sam shook his head.

“You know the problem we are facing, Xavier. The rogues are getting out of hand, and we need to form an alliance even though we are the biggest pack.”

“What do you want me to do now?”

“I want you to try and talk to as many Alphas as possible tonight and try to convince them,” Sam said, I let out a sigh, but I nodded my head. I planned to not even attend this function, but looks like I have no way out of this.

“Fine, I will see what I can,” I said, and a smile formed on Sam’s face before they got up to leave.

“I will see you at the Moon Ball tonight, then?” he asked me, and I nodded my head. Both of them walked towards the front door, but just before they walked out, Marques turned around to look at me.

“Are you going to bring a date with you?” he asked me, and I shook my head. I don't need a whiny, slut beside me the entire night. I need to do my job, and they would only distract me.

“Okay, see you later.” Marquez waved at me, which made me shake my head. After they left my house, I locked the door behind me and made my way to my bedroom again to get some much-needed sleep.

I walked towards my bed, pulled out the dirty sheets, put them inside the laundry basket, and spread a fresh bed sheet before I laid down and closed my eyes.
