Beep beep.

“Argh!” my eyes flew open when the annoying sound of the alarm woke me up from one of my best dreams. I took the phone from beside my pillow and turned the alarm off. How nice would it be if that dream came true?

I wondered as I let out a sigh, and when I was about to turn around, that was when I felt something heavy tightly wrapped around my waist. I turned around to see Xavier sleeping beside me with a peaceful look on his face, but that was when everything that happened last night came rushing back into my mind.

The excruciating pain that I felt and my body heating up to unbearable temperatures, but along with this memory, my mind began to play out what happened between the two of us last night, which made a blush form on my face.

I tried to turn around, and Xavier loosened his hand, allowing me to completely face him. I moved closer to him and wrapped my legs around his, and this made a smile appear on his face. “You are treading on dangerous waters, Eleanor,” Xavier spoke with his eyes still closed.

“No, I am not.” I defended myself when his hands around my waist tightened, and he pulled my body to completely mold with his, and that was when I felt his morning wood.

“Didn't you get enough, Xavier?” I asked Xavier with a gasp, and this finally woke him up. He opened his eyes and stared into mine.

“I will never get enough of you,” he whispered as he moved closer to my lips, but I quickly moved away.

“I haven't brushed my teeth yet.”

“I don't care.” he asserted as he placed his lips on mine in a soft kiss. My hands immediately wrapped around his neck as he pulled me to sleep on top of him while I wrapped my legs on either side of his waist.

“Shall we go for another around?” Xavier asked me as he pulled away from me, but I wasn't able to think straight right now. His dick was poking my entrance, and all I can think about was how he took care of me last night.

“Maybe we…”

“Xavier we…oh shit!” both of us looked towards the door to see Marquez standing there with his eyes widened and his mouth parted. Xavier quickly pulled the blanket to cover us both and glared at him.

“Haven't you heard of knocking before you enter?”

“You never told me that you both have started having sex.”

“Just get out!” Xavier growled while his hands were possessively wrapped around mine.

“Okay, okay, I will leave, but Samuel needs you in his office in ten minutes,” Marquez informed before he banged the door closed.

“He fucking ruined it,” Xavier mumbled, sounding irritated while I ran my fingers through his sharp jawline.

“We have the rest of our lives to spend together, Xavier. But right now, you have more pressing matters to take care of.” I told him as I pushed myself away from him and laid down on my side of the bed again.

“You are right, but I think I can spare a few more minutes with you,” he said, but I pushed him away.

“No, I am sore from last night, so you better leave right now,” I told him, and a pout formed on his face.

“Fine, but you owe me one, Eleanor,” Xavier warned me, and a smile appeared on my face. He pushed the blanket away from his naked body and got up from bed. Instead of just going to the bathroom, he turned around to face me, and my eyes widened to the size of a saucer when I saw how big he was.

Since everything was dark last night, I never got to see him completely naked. “Close your mouth, Ellie, you are drooling.” Xavier joked, which made me throw a pillow at him.

“Shut up and go. I want to sleep.” I said, buried my face in his pillow, and closed my eyes.

“Yeah right, I don't think you should be shy after this.” I heard him say as I heard the bathroom door close.

Beta Xavier Costa - POV

I woke up way before Eleanor did because even though last night was one of the best nights of my life, my heart began to cloud with doubt and fear. Eleanor wanted me when she was in heat, so I was afraid that she might just say that it was all a mistake when she woke up.

But the moment when I saw that beautiful smile on her face, all my worries eased. After taking a shower, I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked out of the bathroom. I looked towards Eleanor to see that she had gone back to sleep again. After wearing a fresh set of clothes, I walked out of the closet and made my way to the bed.

“Mate looks so beautiful,” Kyle said in a dreamy tone, and I agreed with him, but what would be even more beautiful is my mate mark on her. I moved closer to her and placed a soft kiss on her head before I grabbed my phone and left the room.

When I reached Samuel’s office, I knocked on his door as I waited for him to call me in. “Come in!” I heard his voice, so I pushed the door open and walked inside. Samuel was sitting on his chair while Marquez was on the sofa with a glass of bourbon.

“Why are you drinking early in the morning?”

“We were celebrating your mating ceremony.” he casually replied while I saw Samuel glared at him.

“Leave him alone, Marc.”

“Why did you call this urgent meeting?” I asked.

“We found out who drove the trailer that collided with your car,” Samuel said, and this news made me excited.
