Jackson, Elena called out gently. 

“Vanessa,” said Jackson. His consciousness became even more blurry.

Jackson sat in the car and waited.

He reached out and squeezed the wound. 

A glimmer of clarity returned. He scrambled to his feet and headed for the ambulance. 

The doctor helped him into the car. 

Jackson pinched his wound again and briefly said he had probably eaten something with extra ingredients. He was feeling 

terrible. 

The doctor immediately gave him an IV. 

After going to the hospital, the doctor was busy drawing his blood and checking on him. 

The doctor added more medicine to his IV drip. 

Jackson finally felt much better more than an hour later. 

The nurse came over to tell Jackson have a good rest. 

Lying on the hospital bed and looking at the bandaged wound on his arm, Jackson recalled it was his birthday today and could not help but call Vanessa. 

He was ready to hang up as soon as he got through.. 

But the phone became unavailable.
