There was no Shannie’s photo at home. 

Henry used to tell Danny that his mom died when he was two years old. 

Now Danny looked at the woman and wondered, was she the woman who gave birth to him? 

When Danny was ten more years old, he signed and asked Vanessa how their mother died. Vanessa said their mother died in an accident.
