The Emerald Cup held every three years would be held in the largest exhibition and conference center in Lantrie City this 

time. 

The center covered a large area and could accommodate tens of thousands of people at once. 

The competition would last for four months. The preliminary round alone would take a month.

The voice rang out again, “Congratulations to Mary Lee for passing the first round of the preliminary. Number 2, Maya Cruz, please enter the venue.” 

Another girl entered the conference hall. 

Not long after, she walked out dejectedly. 

Elena was number 3, and it was her turn. 

Elena raised her chin slightly as she walked past Vanessa. 

Vanessa had been whispering to William. 

She was trying to distract herself because she could tell someone was gazing at her all along. However, when she looked at Jackson from the corners of her eyes, she found he didn’t seem to be looking at her and was looking at the conference hall in the other direction. 

Elena came out a short while later. The voice sounded again, “Congratulations to Elena Jones for passing the first round of the preliminary!”
