Charlle was happy the night was over. Min had continued trying to get Charlie to talk abend her relationship with Vidar. Asking question about how she had managed to get him to wak her out. “Vidar,” she said and walked over to him. He opened his arms and she stepped right into them. He kissed her like they had been apart for a month. 

“I missed you,” he told her.

“Can we give you a ride home, Lilly?” Vidar asked. 

“Thats kind of you. I have my own car and I always give Leo a ride as he lives just a block from me,” Lilly said.

“You know him?” Lilly asked, surprised. 

“He has helped Charlie a couple of time to serve the food,” he explained. All the while they had been talking, they had ignored the other three people in the room. Someone cleared their throat and all three of them turned towards the sound. It was James that had made the sound. He pointedly looked at where Vidar’s hand rested on Charlie’s waist. 

“Are your brother aware of this?” James asked, not taking his eyes off the hand. Vidar drew Charlie closer to him and Charlie felt him get ready to do something. She didn’t know what. But she believed it wouldn’t be nice. She put her hand on top of his and gave James her most brilliant smile. 

“Not that it’s any of Huxton’s business who I date. But yes, as I told you yesterday. We had a family dinner with him, Tyson and the angels before I started work today,” she said. “I’m sure he will be happy you are trying to keep me safe, but I’m perfectly safe with Vidar. Even my brother agrees with it.” She turned her back to James and looked at Vidar. “I’m all done and ready to go home,” she told him. 

“Sounds good. Do you need to go by your apartment?” he asked. 

“No, I have everything I need at your place.” Charlie hugged Lilly and waved at Jenni. Both women had a knowing face. They knew what just had happened. James looked furious, but Mia had been too busy ogling Vidar to pay real attention to the conversation. As she walked to the car with Vidar, Charlie sent a message in the family chat she had with Huxton and

Tyson, letting them know that James would most likely get in touch. As they got to the can Charlie stopped and stared at it “Vider?”
