If someone has told me I would be kissing an Alpha and, who happens to be my mate I would have laughed out loud and would have said not in million years, but as much as I want that to be false, to be figment of my imagination but, the truth is not, sure it feels like it happened days, even years ago but, the sad truth it’s been hardly twenty four hours of that blissful and sinful of kiss, which left me craving for more, desire for more than I ever imagined, which frights me, it makes me want the things I’m sure every mate wants with their other half, which I was sure I don’t want but, now I don’t know myself that what’s I want or not.

Today I thought why not do something fun, and took Ethan and Jeremy with me in the forest to the clearing not too far away from the pack house, for them to chill and enjoy the fine day today. Jeremy is in the lake with Ethan, of course holding him and making silly noises and making him dip a little in the lake, water is clear and a little cold but, if they both are having fun that’s what it count’s for. I really wanted to have Riley with me but, I understand Roman and his family have to spend little time together. I sighed and got up from my position and went towards the two laughing goons .

“Hey come on now it’s been a while for you two in there, it’s getting cold for the monster here” I said and took Ethan from Jeremy making a sound to which he giggles like a maniac he is.

I dressed Ethan in his warmer clothes and gave him his Sippy cup for him to have his juice, in the mean time Jeremy who is now cleaning himself with a towel popped beside Ethan, as he is situated between us “so tell me Jeremy how you and Summer are doing?” I asked him, well I was meaning to talk to him but, my life itself is a whirlwind at the moment.

Jeremy shrugged “well as good as it has to be, it’s only been a few months and to be honest I’m happy to have her, you know she’s wonderful , and if you are asking about the mating thing, no we are not rushing it , actually I don’t want to. I want us to know each other more and be able to trust her more. And you know one thing Jamie having a mate is the best thing you can ask for” before Jamie could say anything he heard rustling not far away from them, and when he try to smell, is not what he wanted to end their wonderful day with, immediately springing into action, his first concern to ensure the safety of Ethan ad Jeremy.

“What happened Jamie?”asked Jeremy, concerned by Jamie’s rigid stance.

“Listen here Jeremy, rogues are in the territory, I need you to shift so, and I could tie Ethan on your back and I want you to run as fast as you can shielding yourself and Ethan, in your shield okay, and find Logan , as fast as you can, and I try to chase them away” I frantically told him what I want him to do.

“What are you crazy, to chase them away. You don’t even know their number, and you want me to use the shield, you know I ’m not that good at that” Jeremy wined.

“Quick Jeremy, we don’t have time and I can ensure you I can handle them just fine” I said “now shift” just I told him to shift he shifted into his brown wolf and I tied a crying Ethan onto his back, just as I tied Ethan onto his back he shielded him, with his white protective layer, I quickly kissed Ethan on his forehead and Jeremy’s wolf head and told him to run towards the pack house, I sent a quick prayer to moon goddess for their safety and shifting into my full form, in my black beast with the white shining like diamond on my wolf head, I dashed towards to rouges sent.

In few seconds I was in the north of the territory and sent of rouges is sickening, with a low growl from me I dashed further for the search of these bastard rouges, few miles ahead I found a group of seven to eight rouges searching for something or someone I don’t know but, I know that they are in my territory, and I want them out.

The one whom I assume the leader of the huddle spotted me first and lunged towards me with the low growl and too with vicious howl lunged towards him with all the power I can muster, and to show him not to mess with me, he aimed for my legs but, I aimed for his neck and in one swift moment crack, could be heard around the forest and others too started towards me, Ione of the rouge lunged at my back but, I shrugged it off, and killed another by snapping his neck and turned towards the rusty wolf with vicious glint in my eyes and I lunged towards him, but I have to give it to the rusty one has speed he quickly dogged my move and others of their minions , soon followed his trail but, I dodged them all by kicking them with my hind legs or biting them with my teeth , but the blond wolf took me by surprise and bit on my shoulder hard, which made me howl in pain but, I soon he was ripped of me and then I realized that my pack warriors and my brother Roman and my mate were here fighting along my side, but I myself finished half of them and few who were left soon ran out of the territory with their tail tucked in between their legs.

I soon changed into my human form with my clothes on and I know all the warriors and my mate were watching me with lots of curiosity and lots of question swimming their minds and honestly I don’t want to think about that, at least not now, but I heard little whimpering coming just behind me and in my own dreamland I forget that all of others are changed into their human form too, Roman stepped forward and said “Jamie are you ok” I can sense worry in his eyes.

“yeah” I said and were about to say something more yet, again I heard whimpering coming from behind me, with the left of strength I stood up and moved forward the noise but my mate growled “where are you going, you are in no shape to even walk” but I ignored him and neared the bush nearby, after searching for a while and I can sense the presence of my brother and my mate Logan, I finally see and hear clearly the crying of a child , few seconds later with the help of both my brother and Logan, we can finally see a figure holding a child close to her chest breathing so hard and anyone can clearly sense and see that she was chased by the rouges, I cautiously approached her and said “hey, you are ok now, they left” but she continued to huddle away from me.

“Hey I’ll not harm you anyway” I said as softly as I could. “My name is Adam, but everyone calls me Jamie and you are safe now… ” before I could say any other thing , the girl suddenly turned, making me stunned and my mind numb.
