“It’s you getting yourself into something, not me,” she joked. “But if you don’t want to hurry up, I’m going to have to take care of myself.” 

Damien groaned at the image that popped into his head instantly. “I would love to see that… someday. But not right now. Right now, you belong to me.” 

He reached over to the nightstand, grabbed what he needed, and tore into it. Ana was still watching him. He sat back on his heels and slid the condom on as quickly as he could with his hand. He tilted his head and licked his lips, amazed by the view.

He woke up the next morning to the feeling of the sheets slipping across his naked torso. He didn’t open his eyes as he knew what was happening. 

“Come back here,” he groaned, reaching for Ana. He managed to grip her hip and pull her backward enough for him to wrap his other hand around her waist. He yanked her back to him and heard her giggle as he muzzled his nose into her hair and planted a kiss behind her ear. 

“I need to get up.” she said. 

“No. you don’t. Alan is with my parents, remember?” 

“Yes, Damien, I remember,” she said, amused. “I still have to get up.” 

“Why?” Damien whined.

He grunted in response but reluctantly let her go. But he did not do so before flipping her over and pressing his lips firmly. against hers. He watched as she walked, completely naked, to the bathroom. 

Damien threw his hands behind his head and stared up at the ceiling. Last night had been the best night of his life. 

He heard the door click and watched Anastasia come out of the bathroom. “Holy…” he breathed out. 

Ana stood before him, hair pulled up into a ponytail, a short robe wrapped around her body. Her palm rested against the wall just over her head. 

“Come here.” Damien demanded.

“Something funny?” he asked, raising a brow. 

Ana laughed even harder. “No,” she managed to get out between her peals of laughter.

Damien stalked in her direction. She backed up a little. He could see the nervousness in her eyes, but it was the kind of nervousness when you are in a haunted house and you know something is going to jump out at you but you can’t wait for it to happen. 

‘Looks like my girl wants to play.” 

“There is no running, Ana,” he said, sticking the tip of his tongue out between his teeth. The closer he got, the more she backed away. 

“There definitely is,” she teased.
