Chapter 91 

“You do realize that he inherited your creativity for giving names, right? I can’t believe he only got that bit” 

Damien smirked. “I do know that. And believe me, this is just the start… One day he will have a girlfriend who will like him just that way.” 

Ana tried to glare at him, but she couldn’t hold the expression. Alan’s teacher had told them that a little girl in pre–school had been following Alan around for the last couple of weeks, calling him ‘prince charming Apparently, the little girl event kissed him. When Ana asked the teacher how Alan responded, she said that Alan simply smiled and handed her the toy he was holding. 

“I have one last box to bring in,” Damien said, kissing Ana first on the lips, and then Dianne on the check. 

Ana looked around the living room at the boxes that were scattered. “What does he have in his boxes?” she asked out loud to no one in particular. 

“Damien is a hoarder. He kept all kinds of his things from childhood up until you. He’s quite sentimental,” Dianne chuckled. 

Damien opened Damien’s box, thinking she would start packing his stuff away. What she found on top made her gasp. Sitting on the top of the pile were pictures of employees in the company, but it was pretty evident that she was the main attraction in each of them. There was one of her when she first joined the company. And then a picture of Ana and Wynne. Pictures from business dinners, parties, and employee picnics. There was a group picture during her last year in the company. What stuck out for Ana though was the fact that Damien was not looking at the camera like the rest of the people. He was looking at Anastasia.

Ana wordlessly handed her the pictures. 

“Wow,” was all Dianne said. It was all she needed to say. Ana was utterly stunned that Damien had any pictures of her at all. Some of them were pictures she hadn’t even seen before. 

At that moment, Damien walked through the front door. He froze when he spotted his mother and Ana with the photos in 

their hands. 

“Uh… what are you guys doing?” he asked. 

Ana had no idea if he would be mad at her for going through his things. “I just thought I would try to put some things away.” she stuttered. 

Damien looked a little nervous. It was the kind of look a teenager gave his mother when she discovered his stash of racy 

content. 

“I’m going to see what Alan is up to,” Dianne excused herself and patted Ana on the shoulder. 

“I’m sorry. I didn’t know what it was.” 

“First of all, I wasn’t stalking you, I promise. Also, don’t apologize for looking through stuff at your house. This is your house now.” 

Ana blinked in surprise. 

“The photos are raw copies that the designated cameramen had of you. They didn’t make it to the final cut, but I kept those of you for myself.” 

“Why do you have them?” 

“I wanted to remember you the way you were before…” Damien swallowed. 

Ana gasped in surprise. “You kept these after that?” 

Damien nodded. “I kept them at my parent’s place and I would see them once in a while because I missed you. I never did anything with them, I just wanted to have them. I didn’t think I would ever see you again.” 

Damien pointed at the photo that was on the top of the stack. It was a photo of Damien and Ana, simply talking to each. other, laughing about something. 

Ana dropped the pile of photos back into the box and pulled Damien into her arms, pressing her lips to his. “I love you so much,” she whispered, pressing her forehead to his. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her closer. 

“When I stored them away, I never thought I would see you again. Or that you could possibly love me,” he sighed contently. 

“But I do,” she hummed. 

They stood there for a few moments, just holding each other until the padding of feet interrupted them. 

“I’m hungry!” Alan announced, completely unaware of the moment Damien and she had just shared. Ana let go of his hand and reached out to their son. 

Chapter 91

Carmen could see the hesitancy in the man’s face but knew that he was slipping. The longer she kept at him, the weaker his resolve got. Finally, the man grunted and reached for her. As they tangled, Carmen put up a show. It was in those moments. she enjoyed the power she had over these men. They felt like a king and considered her a fantasy. 

When she finally got the man into the bedroom, she turned on the little secret. This one was married and would do anything to keep his wife from finding out what he had done. There was no way the wife would put up with infidelity. 

In minutes, the man was sprawled on his back and out. The man had collapsed, completely passed out. Carmen finally got off the man and took the memory card from the camera before labeling it and putting it into her souvenir box. 

She felt no guilt as she lay down beside the man afterward. These guys deserved the punishment for straying from their partners. So that was what she gave them. Sometimes, she blackmailed them into giving her things: money, cars…. anything depending on their strength and the strength of their relationship. 

Sometimes, it took months for her to research these men, but the fear in their eyes made her feel empowered. She didn’t need to see their reaction to know that they were getting exactly what they deserved. 

Occasionally, one would escape her notice and she wouldn’t find anything bout them. Or they would break down and confess before Carmen had a chance to bring them down. Carmen knew she couldn’t destroy those people, but she could make their lives living hell. 

Was she evil? Yes. But she loved every second of it.
