When I had woken up in the morning, my head was exploding. It hurt so badly. I don’t even know how I had turned up in bed, next to Daniel.
I remember everything from last night. I don’t remember the talking though, except the ending, where Daniel told me to look out for myself, when those guys- that Daniel had a fight with yesterday- come. And to tell him.
When I had asked Daniel, if that had happened, he nodded and walked away.
“Mia” dad walked into the living room.
“Hmm?”
“What did you do yesterday? I mean, Tyler came back angry, and your mom isn’t telling me” he sighed sitting down on the sofa next to me.
“Why does it matter so much to mom, if Tyler is angry. I don’t get it” I mumbled laying my head on dad’s shoulder.
“Your mom is acting weird as well. She never keeps a secret from me. We talk about everything, and now? She’s not even telling me” he shook his head
“I don’t know dad”
“And there’s this person that is entering the pack lands, and we can’t even find him. If only your mom concentrated on the pack, and not Tyler, we would be able to find him” dad took a deep breath.
“Dad I know who he is” I mumbled feeling bad for dad, because he looked stressed.
“What!” He exclaimed and I sat up quickly
“But he’s not bad. He’s here for me, to protect me”
“What are you talking about Mia? Who is he?” Dad stood up
“His name is Ace, and he’s a wizard.”
“Why didn’t you tell me Mia? I’m going to go find out” he walked out of the room just as Tyler walked in.
“Hey Tyler” I smiled
He just nodded and was about to turn around when I stopped him.
“Remember that bet we made? Do you want to start?” I asked and he chuckled
“I could beat you any day” he crossed his arms and looked at me.
“Did your tattoos hurt when you got them done?” I asked staring at his arms that were covered in tattoos
“No. Do you want to start then?”
“Yep” I stood up and followed him to the kitchen
“What do we make first?” I asked getting out some bowls as he got out the ingredients.
“Any cake” he said and I smirked
Dad’s chocolate cake.... here I come
“What’s wrong?” He asked
“Nothing. Why do you ask?”
“Because you have that glow in your eyes as if you’re going to wi-” Daniel walked into the kitchen
“Mia, I was looking for you” he said staring in between me and Tyler.
“Why?”
“Because I wanted to talk.”
“Can we talk later Daniel. I’m a little busy” I pointed to the stuff
“Please baby” he walked towards me and sighing, I nodded.
“We’ll do this another day Tyler” I walked outside with Daniel.
We walked to the end of the forest when he stopped.
“Wha-”
“I want to mark you” he stated
“Daniel I-”
“How much longer. I know you like Tyler, and you’re supposed to be my mate! Why are you doing this!” He exclaimed
“What are you talking about Daniel. I don’t like Tyler!” He scoffed
“Yeah right. I see the way you look at him Mia. Just because he’s different, doesn’t mean everyone has to feel sorry for him. Including your mom! I am the next king, and she doesn’t even talk to me! It’s always Tyler!” He shouted
“Wait! Are you using me Daniel?” I asked shocked
“I have had enough of this Mia. I’m an Alpha, and I’m falling at your feet, pleading for you to do this or that! Seriously it’s fucked up! I-”
“So you’re just using me to become the next king?” I leaned against a tree.
“What? You thought I was stupid enough to fall for a human? Be realistic Mia, you’re a small pathetic human.”
“But you said that you loved me Daniel” I mumbled
“Loved you? Really? How stupid can you get Mia. Nobody will ever love you! You’re a human! Do you under-”
“Stop!” I shouted covering my ears
“Why can’t you take it?” He sneered
“This isn’t you Daniel. You were so sweet!” I exclaimed
“Yeah, because I thought I will mark you, and then fuck you, and BAM, I’m the king. But no! Your weren’t ready! What’s there to be ready about Mia! I could get any girl-”
“Go get any girl then!” I shouted and he chuckled
“I will. But once I mark you” he walked towards me slowly.
“Don’t you dare Daniel” I mumbled
“You know all those times,I had to go somewhere, I was with other girls. One’s that gave me pleasure, while you were here, playing like a little girl” he scoffed grabbing my hands
“Let me go!” I shouted
“Did you cheat on me with Tyler? Do you like Tyler? Why do you spend so much time with Tyler? Does he make you feel special? Does he make you feel different? I’ll let you in on a little secret Mia. Tyler will never like you, let alone love you. He can’t and never will. Think about it realistically Mia. He doesn’t have a mate, but he will never choose you. Don’t be just a desperate c-”
“Shut up!” I shouted and he froze
“I will be back for you Mia. You’re still my mate” he smirked and pushed me back so my head hit the tree and I fell to the floor, as he ran away.
I’m so stupid I thought before I drifted into darkness.

Daniel’s p.o.v
That bitch! I ran out of the territory as fast as I could. I shifted into my brown wolf, and ran into no man’s territory. It’s a place for just rouges.
That bitch! Why couldn’t she just let me mark her!
I know Alex shouted in my head
She’s just a pain! God! I thought, laying down next to a tree.
I’ll get her BACK, after I find someone.
