Bridging Worlds: Book 1 Celestoria's Time
Whispers of the Enchanted Dream

-Ebonvale Village

The sun gently spilled its golden rays through the heavy, embroidered curtains of their quaint, candlelit cottage. Rosche approached Elara, with a look of worry etched across their young face. There was something about the dream she had last night that left her deeply unsettled. Elara, a woman of unwavering strength with her long, flowing gown and wisps of magic swirling around her, turned from the rustic hearth where she was preparing a traditional breakfast to listen to Rosche's concerns.

“Mom, I had a strange dream last night,” Rosche began hesitantly. “I saw a symbol I didn’t recognize, and there were some lifeless figures in ancient attire. A shadowy presence loomed over them.”

Elara exchanged a concerned glance with Omar, who was sipping a steaming mug of herbal brew at the rough-hewn wooden table.

Elara’s ethereal smile, framed by a cascade of curls, tried to ease Rosche's distress. “Oh, Rosche, dreams can be mysterious, often influenced by our thoughts and the stories we hear. It’s merely the workings of your imagination, nothing more.”

Omar, a man who bore the wisdom of ages on his face, set down his mug. “Indeed, dreams can be fleeting illusions. They can appear significant, but they usually fade like morning mist.”

Rosche wasn’t entirely reassured. “But this one felt so real, Mom, and the symbol was so strange. I’ve never seen anything like it before.”

Omar’s eyes, lined with the knowledge of ancient tomes, softened, and he reached out to lay a comforting hand on Rosche's shoulder. “I understand your concern, Rosche, but sometimes, dreams are simply the mind’s way of sorting through thoughts and emotions. It’s not a prophecy.”

Elara set a plate of freshly baked honeyed pastries and a goblet of spiced mead in front of Rosche, giving her a reassuring smile. “Eat, my dear, and gather your strength. It’s just a dream, and dreams cannot hurt you.” Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ (F)indNƟvᴇl.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Rosche took a bite of the pastry, the flavors of honey and spices dancing on her tongue, but the dream’s vivid imagery still clung to her like a haunting spell. “I will, but I can’t help feeling that there’s more to it.”

The family carried on with their day, the dream slipping into the background as they went about their daily routines. Elara and Omar focused on their duties , while Geran, the eldest, assisted with various tasks. Rosche, however, couldn’t shake the unease that had taken root in their mind.
