Davhil, still confused, asked, “What does that have to do with going to the city?”
Displaying a mix of irritation and concern, Eowyn flicked her brother’s forehead, prompting a wince. She explained, “It means King Altair’s death could be a setup, and someone from the Council might be aiding the demons. We can’t trust anyone, be it from the Council or the demons. It’s all interconnected.”
