Though still reluctant, the guards acknowledged the gravity of the situation. Guard 1 turned to them and stated, "We can only permit one of you to enter the palace through this gate. It is a matter of protocol."

Showing unwavering resolve, Rosche volunteered with a determined look, "I'll go alone. I'll relay the message to the Queen."

Eamon and Geran exchanged anxious glances, realizing the guards' stern stance. Eamon said, "Rosche, I don't like the idea of you going in alone."

Geran nodded in agreement, "It's too risky. We should all go together."

Rosche reassured them, "I'll be fine. If I encounter any trouble, I'll find a way to signal you. Stay close to the gate, and be ready."

Taking a deep breath, Rosche stepped through the threshold. The guards swiftly closed the gate behind her, sealing it with a resounding thud.
