"No time for being lovey dovey you two. Help us out you too Landon."

"Even if she does have, that doesn't mean that you can let her drink 7 vodka shots."

I slid into the warm water of the bathtub, embarrassed from what Landon just said .

I began trying to recall what happened last night....

Alexia's POV

"Come on, eat more."

"Landon, I'm already eating stop pestering me!"

"I'll stop pestering you if you eat more."

"I'm already eating I said!"

"Will you two shut up and eat quietly?" Emma snapped at us.

"I will if he stops annoying me."

"Yeah right, annoying you." He mimics me.

"Actually..." Noah suddenly uttered.

"You need to eat more Alexia, you're too weak..."

Is he serious? I'm not weak!

"I'm not weak." I scoffed.

"You might think I'm taking sides but I'm really not. Remember when you got drunk? You got drunk after 7 shots only although normal werewolves get drunk after 10..."

Am I really that weak?

Maybe it's an after effect to what happened to me...

"Then I'll start training with the other pack members."

"You need to have a little more food before that. You need to be well built not bony...You'll get injured easily."

"You do have a point but I really can't eat anymore, I'll vomit."

"Then you just increase your portions gradually. You can't practice before you get better."

I grumbled a yes. Sighing at my defeat, I tried to continue eating what was left.

"Mary, Can we use the kitchen, please." Emma asked as Mary was cutting some cucumbers.

Mary sat the cucumber down and pointed the knife towards her.

"What do you mean by using the kitchen dear Emma." She cruelly smiled.

"Uh...Use the..uh...kitchen? Uh..We wanted to make some uh cookies?" She nervously gulped.

"We?"

"Me and Lexi.."

At this, all 4 sets of eyes including Landon and Noah's were on me.

"Not without my supervision of course, right?" Mary sweetly smiled which definitely held a murderous look in reality.

"Yes yes, of course!" I quickly backed up Emma. She owes me that, when did we even say that we are gonna make cookies?

"Hmm...Alright. After you finish eating, We'll bake some." She exhaled.

"Thank you Mary!" Emma boomed then quickly gulped all of the food that was left on her plate.

How did she do that?

"Eat now if you want to help them." Landon softly whispered in my ear.

I rapidly nodded then ate as much as I could before we started baking.

"They are almost finished, you two can go ahead and get cleaned up whilst I finish what's left in the kitchen."

"No no, it's okay Mary. We will take care of everything, you go rest."

"Sweet Alexia. Alright, I'll go, the cookies should be taken out in around 10 minutes. Don't let them stay longer than that or they'll get burnt."

As she told me the instructions and went, We finished cleaning what was left from the mess and took out the cookies which turned to be a masterpiece. Mary is a great cook.

"So, are you and my brother on good terms now?"

"Yeah, you could say so."

"Then should I be expecting to be an aunt in less than a year?" She wiggles her eyebrows while grinning.

"An aunt!" I gasped.

"I know there's something going on between the two of you." She snickered.

I bolted to one of the plates where some cookies sat. I took it and ran to Landon's office to offer some and get away from Emma's embarrassing rambling.

As I found the office, I knocked before I heard Landon's voice permitting me to enter.

"I brought some cookies."

"Thanks." He softly smiled as I sat the plate on his desk.

"How's your work going?"

"Decent."

He stared at me for a while before suddenly leaning and licking my nose.

"What are you doing!"

"There was some cookie dough, I love eating them." He grinned.

"Is my little mate embarrassed?"

"No! It's disgusting." I huffed.

"Whatever." He sticked his tongue out whilst I rolled my eyes at his childish behaviour.

"This is so tasty!" He exclaimed as he munched on the cookie.

"Really?"

"Yes." He moaned.

I chuckled at his reaction. It's amusing to have a mate like him.

"Alexia come here, you have to eat too."

"Don't worry about me, these are for you."

"No. I want to share it with you, please?" And to my surprise, he gave me puppy eyes...

How can I say no to him?

"Fine..." I sighed as I ate the cookie he had extended to me which seemed to please him.

"Since the cookies are good...Does that mean that you guys didn't burn the kitchen?"

"Landon!"

"Just making sure!" He raised his hands in surrender.

"You're unbelievable." I shook my head in disbelief as I stared at his full of delight face.

"I know I'm so charming, why don't you come here for a closer inspection?" He smirked.

"Yeah right. You have as much charm as a dead slug." I snorted to which he scoffed.

Silence rested for a while till he broke it.

"Can we talk?

"Um...Sure, what's up?"

"I know it's hard for you, but..."

Please anything but that...

"I need to know what happened in your past. There's a nearby pack...They claim that they had a pack member who betrayed the pack and stole something important from them and ran away, becoming a rogue."

It can't be, right? I mean even if he was talking about me, I didn't steal anything from them.

"The rogue was a female..."

At this, I stiffened.

I felt my body become cold and numb. My heartbeat racing as I couldn't feel the oxygen that seemed to enter my lungs.

"Alexia?" Panic seemed to surge through Landon's body as he bolted towards my now falling body.

"Hey, hey! Stay with me." He whisper yelled as he slowly leaned my body onto his.

"I'm sorry." I whimpered.

"Everything's gonna get better, just stay with me."

That was all I could clearly hear before I blacked out.

Flash back

"You lowly omega! Go to my room and fetch me my golden handbag." The Luna snarled to which I could only obey.

"Yes, Miss."

As I entered the Alpha and Luna's room, it was once again messy.

"I need to first find the bag then clean this mess again. Now where's this bag."

After looking through the wardrobe and around the bed, I found a small ray of light ascending from the middle of a pile of thrown clothes in the corner of the room.

Turns out to be a shiny black half moon bracelet, a pretty one actually but as usual, the "Luna" doesn't give a single second thoughts about throwing her stuff like that.

As I was inspecting the bracelet, the bedroom's door was slammed open; a stormy Luna entered,

"What's taking you so long omega!"

"I'm sorry, Luna, I'm still looking for it."

I said as I let the bracelet fall with a soft thud on top of the pile not letting her see me touching it. If she saw me, she'd slap me.

She huddled in annoyance then began looking for the bag herself but stopped as she saw the bracelet.

"Hand me that bracelet."

And I did. I wouldn't want to hear her screeching again today. As she slid her bracelet on, she glared at me.

"What are you looking at!"

"Nothing, Luna!"

"Doesn't look nothing to me."

"I was just thinking that it's a pretty bracelet that's all."

"Hmph, that bracelet is very important to me. No one and I mean no one will ever take it." She venomously stated.

Flash back ended

"Don't worry, she's going to wake up soon." Amanda's calm voice was faintly there, it was so faint that I barely heard her. A terrible headache came over me.

"Stop talking, this headache is killing me."

I seethed as I gradually opened my eyes to be immediately met with 3 pairs of eyes staring directly at me with astonishment. These belonged to Landon, Emma and Noah. Amanda and another woman stood in the corner.

"How long are you gonna all stand around me like a bunch of creepers." I almost snapped at them.

"Don't ever do that again." Emma got emotional almost immediately as she gave a bone crashing hug.

"Emm- can't breath." I gasped for air as she was killing me.

"Emma let her go!" Landon pushed his sister away from me.

"Don't push me like that. She's not gonna die from a hug."

"Yeah whatever." He scoffed.

"Don't worry me like that ever again!"

"Sorry Emm..."

"Now now, lets leave doctor White to examine Alexia."

A tall and ironically, black she-wolf stood in front of me. She had curly black hair and brown eyes. She stood in the doctor's white coat and held some papers.

"Oh don't mind me, I have already ran the tests I wanted to. You're already better, it’s was just a panic attack. Just make sure you eat more and keep your body hydrated. You can leave now but make sure not to stress yourself out.”

"Thanks doc." I smiled at her as I tried standing from the bed but thanks to my mate, I was lifted and now held in bridal style in his arms.

"Put me down, I can walk you know." To which he rolled his eyes and walked out of the hospital and to the pack house. As he carried me, I came to realise that we were now alone, no Emma nor anyone behind us. After a few minutes, we were in our bedroom.

"How are you?" He asked as he let both of us on the bed.

"Good."

He looked at me unsure.

“What happened back then?”

I sighted.

“Its a long story...”

“I’m here to listen.” He softly said as he rested himself at the head of the bed, setting me on his lap.
