I stalk behind her, but I can’t hear her footfalls. So she’s hiding from me.

“Given up yet, sweetheart?” I call out, glancing to each side for her, hitting my palms against each trunk as I pass.

From my right, I hear the sound of rustling leaves, causing me to swiftly turn. I catch a glimpse of her ponytail swaying in the breeze. Closing the distance between us, I seize her by the hips. In response, she twirls around, gripping my t-shirt tightly, causing the collar to rip. My fingers tighten around her throat as I push her against the rough bark, my thigh finding its place between her legs.
