Chapter 8

“Sky, hey, could you help me get ready?” Star asked, coming into the room.

“Yeah, sure you go have a shower and I’ll get everything ready,” I answered her and got my makeup bag out, as she went to the bathroom.

When she came out, I made her sit in a chair and did her makeup. I gave her a natural look, so it doesn’t look too much. I curled her hair, as well. After I finished with her, I told her to put on her dress, which was laying on the bed, while I got ready.

Taking my dress into the bathroom, I took my shower and changed, before coming back out into the bedroom.

Going over to where I had my makeup still placed, I did my makeup natural and straightened my hair. “How do I look?” I asked, spinning around in the chair and looked expectantly at Star.

“Stunning,” she replied, smiling at me.

“You look beautiful, as well, Star. So, what time is the party at?” I asked her.

“Now. Come on, let’s go, we’re going to be late,” she said, dragging me out of the room and to the back forest. We got there finally and everyone was standing around. We stood next to our pack. There wasn’t many of us left now, after the fight. Only hundred or so.

I smelled his scent before I saw him. Cole walked on the stage and everyone went quiet. “Good afternoon everyone. I’ll get straight to it. We’re going to accept this pack into our pack.” He said and everyone clapped.

“So, Crystal pack come on the stage,” he told us and we all went on the stage. I made sure I was at the back with Star.

“Do you all accept to be loyal and kind to Blood Moon pack?” he asked all of us. We nodded and agreed. “So I need you all to give me your hand and I’ll make a cut,” he ordered us. One by one, we gave our hand to him. When it was my turn, he stared into my eyes. I gave him my hand and when he touched it, sparks went everywhere.

He made a cut in my palm and joined our hands together. I made sure my mindlink was completely off, so no one could read my thoughts. When that was over, Star was after me and she was shaking. “Calm down, Star, it’s nothing, your shaking,” I said to her hugging.

I let my tiger out a little bit to calm her down. I let her go when she wasn’t shaking and went into the crowd.

You see Scarlett is always the quiet one from us. Shes always worried. Its because her parents were Omegas and they died in a attack by an Alpha. And she saw it all. After that she is always careful in everything she does and she is terrified of Alphas.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention, that when I let my tiger out, most people are calm around me? Ooppps.

“That’s it and now enjoy the party,” Cole said and Star walked down next to me.

“Thank you, Sky. I was so scared,” she said, hugging me.

“Its okay, come on, let’s get food. I’m starving,” I told her, pulling her to the food table.

“You love food,” she said, laughing.

“Oh My God, there’s cake, as well,” I said excited and looking at the cake. I picked up two plates of cake and sat on a table next to Star. I was just about to eat them when someone came running to the Alpha.

What’s wrong, Kira? I asked her, alert.

Rouges she said and blocked me out.

I pulled Star up and walked to the front where Cole was.

“Everyone, there Rogues coming! Women and children, safe house, NOW!” he shouted.

I followed all the women to the safe house and made sure to not get lost in my thoughts. When we reached the safe house, we went inside and locked the door. They were lots of women and children in here.

We waited for hours. The children were crying. I looked around to see a mother trying to stop her two years old crying, but he wouldn’t stop. I walked towards her and looked at the child.

“Can I?” I asked her and she nodded. I got on my knees and put my arms out. “Come here, baby,” I said to the little boy and he came running to me.

Love kids.

“Why are you crying? Are you going to be a good boy and go to your mom? And are you not going to cry are you?” I asked him.

He nodded like he understood. When your a werewolf, your kids are smarter than normal human kids. Like this little guy. He is only two, I think, but he acts like he is four. They’re very clever.

I gave him back to his mom and walked back to Star. “Its okay star, it’s going to be fine,” I said, holding her hand.

“I know,” she replied, giving me a small smile.

I’m worried for Cole, I thought

Suddenly the door opened. Liam came inside

“Everything is over, you can come now,” he told us, looking confused.

What? Why is he confused?

I came out and walked to the back forest. What I saw, was scary and shocking.

“We found you and we will get you.” Was written in blood on the grass.
