Chapter 6 Kill the Baby

Soon, the manager talked to Renee. “Renee, why did you quit?”

“Personal choice. Sorry.”

“We held a design competition in the company before. Your work is No. 52, right? It has passed the first round and gone to the last one. If you win any prizes, you can work in the Design Department. Isn’t it your dream job? What a good chance!”

“Why are you nagging? Don’t you have work to do?”

The assistant scratched his head and thought, “Hope you won’t regret it.”

When Quincy was about to get off work in the late afternoon, he got a message: “Mr. Patel, Heaven’s Taste has kept a table for you. Mrs. Patel will see you here at 7 p.m.”

Reading the message, he felt disdainful. Renee offered to divorce him and quit. Then she invited him to dinner. She had so many tricks!

“Hey, don’t go. Nothing is more important than your anniversary.” Timothy pulled her and didn’t notice the strange atmosphere.

“Timothy, just tell us what you want.” Renee didn’t think he would do this for nothing.

“Hee hee, you know me so well. I opened a company and need some money. I want to borrow some money from Quincy…” He looked at Quincy with expectations and embarrassment.

“How much?” Quincy asked Timothy but looked at Renee teasingly.

Renee understood, of course.
