“I prefer a quiet life. The housecleaners will come every two days.” Lucas untied his tie, saying, “I’ll go take a shower first. The cloakroom inside is empty, and you can place your things there.”
With that, he walked into the bedroom.
Hearing the sound of water running, Tiara heaved a sigh of relief.

It was similar in size to a guest room. Most of the wardrobes were empty except the two filled with man’s clothing.
Tiara began to hang her clothes in a wardrobe one by one. Then, she took out a file bag, in which there were her certificates, including her ID card and diploma.
Seeing them, she thought of a new one she had just obtained yesterday.
Lucas had taken both copies of the marriage certificate away, and she didn’t know where he had placed them.

She walked out of the cloakroom and happened to meet Lucas, who had just finished showering.
His hair was dripping, his waist wrapped in a white towel, and his upper body perfectly muscular. Seeing Tiara on the phone, he walked toward her silently, not saying a word.
As he approached, Tiara could feel her heartbeat quicken, and she subconsciously held her breath.
