Karissa Parker never used to believe in magic until one day during a freak rainstorm when she was told her mother was a witch. All her mother’s magic has been saved inside of a book only to be released during the spring equinox of her seventeenth year, but there is another who seeks control of her birthright. An evil demon desires the power to help him in his quest to rule over the magical world. With it, there would be no other force that could stop him. Karissa must gain her powers and quickly learn how to use them if she ever hopes to defeat the demon threat... but not everything is as clear cut as it would seem.
