Wes and Anya stepped out of the Undercity, to see a blue sky above the city of Sanctuary, and though the city once again showed scars of battle, the majority of it still stood tall. Celeste followed them out, using a stick to walk.

"It's over?" Celeste asked.

"It looks like they did it..." Anya nodded. Wes smiled as he stepped out onto the street, there was no sign of any remaining chimera.

"I knew they could" Wes smiled.

Up in the skies, above the Steppe, the floating continent drifted slowly through the air, as an airship made its way over the many hills, mountains and valleys of the undiscovered region. As it neared the fallen city of Utopia, the survivors of the battle waved to signal where they were.

The airship picked everyone up and soon departed, back to the council chambers.

The city of Inchaya, was heavily damaged by the attacks of the chimera, but the majority of the people who lived there had survived to see another day. Not long after the skies turned blue, the citizens began a huge clean up operation.

The continent of Farenai, having been cut off from the world for the longest time, over the next few weeks, began to lend their aid to the damaged nations of the world, as their protective bubble had finally fallen, following the death of Brannam, Tristal and Memoria.

When the airship arrived at the Council Chambers, the survivors made their way into the ruins of the old building, most of the equipment laid scattered across the floor.

Lotte approached the teleporter and tried to turn it on, but, since the world had been closed off from other realms, the technology was obsolete.

"Well, I guess we'll have to take the long way home" Lotte sighed.

"It's not working?" Atlas asked, as he looked over, Lotte shook her head.

"I think we should lend aid to the cities of this continent before heading home" Elyss suggested. "From what I know of current day, Aodhan has its own government, who will sort stuff out over there..." She began.

"Whereas, Inchaya has lost Mizu..." Roisin frowned, remembering the sacrifice that Mizu had made for her. Dex hugged Roisin to comfort her.

"Farenai has lost the majority of their leaders too" Arwyn nodded. "Technically, I am the only remaining person of power left on that land. So I shall direct my help there" Arwyn explained.

"I'll lend a hand" Seb raised his hand and smiled.

"Thank you" Arwyn smiled slightly.

"It is a strange new world. But, now it's our turn, we need to take up the mantle and secure a bright future" Atlas smiled.

"For those who have fallen" Roisin nodded, everyone else smiled, as they took a seat.

"But before all of that, I could really do with a long sleep" Ariel shrugged with a grin.

"Now that sounds like a plan" Dex chuckled. Everyone else laughed and slowly one by one dozed off, for the first time in days.
