Chapter 427
Alaric swore to look into Bane’s situation for Victoria, including Ethan’s injuries.

The next morning, she received the latest update on Bane’s condition; he was hurt
whereas Ethan had vanished.
“Vanished?” Victoria had a bad feeling when she heard that. Back when she was with
Bane, Ethan had vanished for a few days and only reappeared when she asked after
him. He had been severely injured back then.
She knew he was suffering from multiple injuries, but she did not know the details of
those injuries.
It was not like she could pull his shirt up to check his wounds.
Later on, he let her go and even brought her to freedom. He would be met with no
mercy from Bane when he returned.
